• If you’re a hopeful romantic like me, you’ve probably read through Songs of Songs. You’ll notice that Solomon uses various imagery of sweet things to talk about love. Why does he do that? Why does he appeal to our senses, taste, smell, touch, etc., when talking about love?
• Well, it simply implies that relationships must have flavour; like the sweetness of the various ice cream or chocolates we enjoy we enjoy. “You must enjoy your relationship and not endure it.” ~ Rev. Simon Ampofo.

• One of the beautiful things in life and one which is not easily understood is the way of a man with a maiden (love relationships).
• “Love and relationships must be enjoyed as we go through this life. Life can be tough but inspite all its challenges, God brings good people along life’s journey so you can enjoy love.” ~ Rev. Simon Ampofo.
  

What Did Jesus Do??

• As the years pass, Christians have become lovers of sweet words and of ‘spiritual’ instructions from 'prophets and teachers' (eg. buy a blue-green oil from Jerusalem, apply it on your wallet for 1 week for your breakthrough, etc.)

• And we tend to follow customs these men instruct or lay down rather than the customs of Jesus...

There was a fine gentleman (Elliot Nhyiraba Baffour) who used to complain that he misplaces and loses his pen very often. So he resorted to use only cheap Bic pens so that he wouldn’t need to worry about losing them. He was really worried about his carelessness habit...

“The race is not for the swift, nor the battle for the strong, - neither is first class to the one who is always at the library studying, nor a UEFA semifinal qualification to the team leading 4:1, - nor riches to men of understanding, nor favour to men of skill…”
