Malayalam:
“യഹോവയുടെ ദൂതൻ അവന്നു പ്രത്യക്ഷനായി:
‘അല്ലയോ പരാക്രമശാലിയേ, യഹോവ നിന്നോടുകൂടെ ഉണ്ടു’
എന്നു അവനോടു പറഞ്ഞു.
യഹോവ അവനോടു:
‘ഞാൻ നിന്നോടുകൂടെ ഇരിക്കും;
നീ മിദ്യാന്യരെ ഒരു ഒറ്റ മനുഷ്യനെപ്പോലെ തോല്പിക്കും’
എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.”

“And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him and said to him,
‘The Lord is with you, O brave man.’
The Lord answered him,
‘I will certainly be with you, and you will strike down the Midianites as [if they were only] one man.’”
