What if having physical interactions with the Earth was an honoring of your body? And of the Earth.

Our bodies are made of the Earth and have a connection to it beyond what you can imagine.

Some people feel earthquakes with their bodies, or know when the dermis of the Earth is desperate for water. Others come alive during Spring and go to resting in the Winter because they are so in sync with the Earth cycles.

There are many other physical acknowledgments that bodies have which tie directly to the Earth, yet we don’t always recognize that is what is occurring.

Tribes of old used to have a communion and an honouring of the Earth that has been forgotten by most. However in a world that pushes us to do more, produce more, work more it can feel impossible to have such a connection and honouring. But what if it is easier than you think?

A guest wrote in and asked me about a parenting topic.

It is a great topic.

Her question touched on so many aspects of life where we want to gift all that we can to the people we care about. This can show up especially with our kids.

As parents you walk around with an uncontrollable aspect of you on display for all to see and judge called your kid. Now they are not actually you but how much are you judged by every action they make as though it IS you?

And in turn how aware are you of others judgment of your kids that you wish to protect them from?

It is a vicious cycle of judgment and there is a way out and a way into possibility.

I don’t know about you but I was never told that I was the creator of my life. Or I missed that class in school anyways.

In fact, I was in my 30’s when I discovered these keys to life that had so much power and practicality to them that I really don’t know how I had managed before without them.

These days people are using these lables more and more. Some stem from professional diagnosis some from self identification.

Regardless of where the label comes from my curiosity is when do the labels stop you? And when do they actually set you free?

Now I am aware that for some this is a charged topic but I invite you to release the charge, flood yourself with curiosity and explore with me.

You are safe and no one knows what true for you other than you. I wonder what more we can become aware of in the Curious Universe.

What if you are even greater than the greatest compliment you have ever received?

It’s nice to hear great things about you from others and true acknowledgement is the fertilizer that will GROW everything!

But have you ever experienced that moment when someone is saying something nice to you, about you, but it kinda makes you feel heavy or crunchy? Perhaps you even made yourself wrong for responding that way.

What if it’s because there is MORE to acknowledge? Or what if there are energies attached to that acknowledgment that you are simply aware of.

What if patience didn’t mean that everything slows down or takes longer.

What if when you apply patience to anything it allows it to grow faster than you ever imagined.

A lot of us were told, especially as kids, to be patience when we asked for things or nagged at our parents to “hurry up”! In kid time, how much did it seem like the things you really wanted were in slow motion? And you wanted it yesterday! How much do you still feel that way as an adult? (wink wink)

Especially with those big wonderful things we are so excited for!

However when we are lacking patience we can get very destructive with our creations and even slow down our asks from showing up!

Some things need to die.

I know that can sound bleak or dark but what if we looked at it from a different perspective?

What if the death of a tree gave birth to multiple trees and other plant life?

What if the death of a political system gave birth to new more generative ideas and sustainable systems?

What if the death of your points of view, limitations, or even a relationship gave birth to fresh new possibilities?

Sometimes we don’t want to let go of something because we are used to it, it’s become comfortable, and we know how to deal with it. But what if that was holding you back?

What if everything you are truly asking for cannot come into your life until you kill the very thing you are protecting?
