Calling DJ Flight a legend would be almost be an understatement. She is widely regarded as one of the foundations of Drum & bass. Flight is a DJ, Radio Producer, Mentor and podcaster hailing from the UK. To name all her accomplishments we would have to write a book. It therefore is no surprise that we are excited to see her on the line-up of Curated by Coco Bryce on Saturday the 27th of May at Melkweg. 2022 marks 20 years of Critical Music! To celebrate this milestone, Curated by hosts the final leg of the Critical XX Club Tour on Friday the 23rd of December. In the run-up to the party we had a chat with label boss Kasra. For this podcast, Kasra selected his favorite 20 tracks released on Critical Music to elaborate on. Based on these tracks Kasra tells his story. 'How did the collaboration come to be?' 'What moved you to sign this track?' 'What are the hurdles you have come across running a label?' In the run-up to The North Quarter labelnight during Amsterdam Dance Event we had a chat with labelboss Lenzman. We talk about his teen years in Leiden, discovering Hip Hop and becoming a rapper. His life changed when he discovered drum and bass during his trips to England. It was the beginning of a success story. From doing a tour in Asia with only one release to being one of the key figures in the scene. It is and has been an interesting ride. Tune in!

SP:MC is the first MC to feature in a Curated by Podcast. We sat down with Stew and had a long and in depth conversation about his passion and development as an artist and label owner. Our guest for the 7th installment of the Curated by Podcast is Brighton born and bred Jack Stevens aka Workforce. As one half of SpectraSoul he is one of the key figures of the drum & bass scene since 2006. In this podcast we talk about his years as an early raver, successes and split up with SpectraSoul. But also about the creative process, the struggles and his forthcoming album titled 'Set and Settings' on his 'Must Make' imprint.
