Hi, friend! I’m Sigoni; military spouse, mom of 3, and recovering anxious perfectionist. For years I tried everything - self help books, productivity hacks, and organization systems while juggling family, home, and business. But behind the scenes, I was battling overwhelm, anxiety, depression, and burnout. My body was present, but my mind was always somewhere else.
It wasn’t until I stopped chasing what worked for everyone else and started looking inward that things began to change. I learned how to spot triggers, manage my anxiety, let go of perfectionism, and reconnect with God - all while using crochet and other hobbies to stay grounded, practice mindfulness, and relieve stress.
Now, life isn’t perfect (and never will be), but I finally feel less stressed, more calm, and living each moment in the present. If you want to live a life you love, knowing your values is a good place to start. If you don't know your values (or you don't follow them) you could feel incomplete; like something's missing, or that you've lost your identity.
When I became a mom, my identity shifted to solely being a mom. Everything I did was to contribute to that purpose. And later I'll explain how I fell into a depression because of it - not because of being a mom but because of the mindset I had.
