Maybe you've heard about all the drama happening on TikTok with a group of Mormon mom influencers in Utah. It appears that they've all been swinging (aka having sex with each other's partners🍍). TBH I could care less about what they're doing in the bedroom so if you're looking for those nitty gritty details you're not going to find them here.
BUT I am fascinated with the fact that they're choosing to air out all their dirty laundry on TikTok. I go into the history of blogging (like we're taking it wayyy back in 2005) and how the "I Am A Mormon" marketing campaign that the LDS church initiated back in the day maybe could have potentially possibly (in my opinion) been the beginning of what we know today as "Mommy Bloggers".
They claim to be Mormon, are they? Is swinging normal in the Mormon community? How did we get to this place?
I dip into the LDS church's doctrine about eternal salvation and how that has bred a culture of perfectionism amongst women in Utah.
Last, but not least — what is the difference between an influencer and a blogger and a content creator, and an artist? Hope y'all enjoy!
