She is the award-winning author of Moments of the Heart and Choose to Be Your Own Champion: The Six-Step Playbook to Become Your Best Self, releasing October 14, 2025. Before launching her speaking career, Dorice spent 30 years in education, including 16 years in educational leadership, writing K–12 curriculum, teaching, and managing a staff and volunteer team of more than 40.
