019. Taxes w/Khamaree Karim (Owner of Upscale Accounting Solutions)

On today's episode, Corporate-ish has a conversation with Khamaree Karim.  We'll talk about leaving Corporate America and how he started his own business.  He'll also answer some tax questions.  Disclaimer: Everybody's tax situation is different.  Please consult a tax professional about your own personal tax situation.

Khamaree Karim graduated from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 2010 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. He received his MBA in 2014 from Lindenwood University of St. Charles, MO.   While earning his MBA, he worked at Bank of America in Illinois as a Branch Manager. Khamaree Karim established his first entrepreneurial endeavor, KDK Tax Services, from 2016-2019. As a licensed certified tax preparer, he gained experience in providing his clients with the highest quality of service by embracing the core values of integrity, maintaining compliance with IRS rules and exceptional customer service. Whether his clients had a relatively simple or complex tax situation he was always able to identify legitimate resolutions.

KDK Tax Services proved to be a successful undertaking. As individual clients, families and businesses strengthened his growth potential in the industry, he decided to dedicate himself to his company full time. Late 2019, the company’s name was changed to Upscale Accounting Solutions, LLC.  Upscale Acct. Solutions, LLC is licensed to do more than just tax preparation and consulting.  The business is equipped to perform bookkeeping, payroll and other related business consultations/services.

Khamaree Karim, MBA is family orientated with a beautiful wife and three children. He enjoys being active outdoors and family game nights. As a family man, he highly respects the desires of his clients to take care of their families as well.  He values the importance of financial stability for his clients and will work to ensure your family and or business has the tools it needs to succeed.
