Looking back from where we started! - “Ebenezer thus far you have brought us!”
It’s important to name our places of victory, when we commemorate the place of our victories, we set permanent reminders of God’s goodness and his faithfulness.
Just like the memorial stones we see erected in Genesis 28v10-22, Joshua 4v1-8 and 1 Samuel 7v7-12. We need to have reference points we can draw strength from in times of doubt and uncertainty, we can look back from where we started and see God’s track record of showing up and showing out for us!
