EP-120 Parental Warning - Accelerationists Ahead Hey parents, have you heard of O9A, 764, or CVLT? Not covered by mainstream media, but their work is demonstrated on a national scale. These are online groups hunting your children for exploitation, extortion, blackmail, and for the lulz. Their ideology and methodology are often tied to Satanism, but the Department of Justice has come up with a term that better describes these dangerous terror networks: Nihilistic Violent Extremist (NVE). The What: O9A: Order of Nine Angels. This is an international phenomenon that started in the 1990's, and can be said to have birthed modern Nihilistic Violent Extremist networks. The underpinning ideological foundation of the Order of Nine Angels is said to be esoteric and satanic, but often the search for why obscures the nihilistic absence of philosophy. The underlying ideological foundation could be seen as a mask covering the true nature, which is simply the wielding of the tools: using violence to accelerate societal destabilization. The tool is the foundation. Associations with neo-Nazis or Satanists merely shows the vehicles of influence. The Order of Nine Angels has an international footprint, but its influence on other domestic organizations is what I see as its legecy. 764: This group demonstrates the accelerationism and decentralization within the Nihilistic Violent Extremist terrorism superset. 764 was founded in Texas by teenagers, which adds even further to the complexity of the NVE problem, often children are the perpetrators of network expansion within their own age cohort. At this point 764 is an old marker, as these accelerationist operators change names to avoid detection. A decentralized terror network has been created. Some have dubbed this decentralized network as The Com. "764 is a violent online network that seeks to destroy civilized society through the corruption and exploitation of vulnerable populations, which often include minors. The 764 network’s accelerationist goals include social unrest and the downfall of the current world order, including the U.S. Government." DOJ criminal complaint against the founders of 764 CVLT: Pronounced "cult", this group within the Nihilistic Violent Extremism network has been exposed in the last year through multiple arrests and federal charges. Within the charging documents the government states clearly, "CVLT members participated in their online child exploitation activities because they wanted to create an army of sadist followers." The first arrests were in Texas, but more followed across the country from New Jersey to Hawaii. Just as this podcast was being produced, a new NVE group under The Com umbrella named Purgatory has taken responsibility for swatting attacks on college campuses across the United States. The Where: Our modern digital world has replaced so much of what living life used to be in a community. Now, community resides all over the globe within the box in your home. Our children have access to these amazing tools that connect society in ways that has never existed. However, these tools of connected productivity, learning, and entertainment can also be the playground for nefarious actors. Broken and abused members of our society use these tools to facilitate and accelerate the percentage of abused and victimized cohort within our population base. Discord. Many parents know about this shared server system as a gathering spot for online gaming groups. The creative way communities can organize and communicate centered around gaming strategy and organization burst the platform into global popularity. However, this platform can be used by nefarious actors organizing for different games and purposes, and a child that simply sees the platform as a way to connect with others can be unaware of the nefarious characters lurking on the server systems. EP-119 Scientific Approach Needed - Gender-Affirming Care Highlighting the UK’s NHS Cass Review on gender-affirming care with a focus on the often cited “suicide ideation” propaganda in Washington State politics. Beginning in 2020 the National Health Service (NHS) in England commissioned a comprehensive multi-year review of gender-affirming care for children and adolescents. The scientific review, published in 2024, was a complete rebuke of the prevailing approach to gender-affirming care in the UK. As a result of the review, the UK medical establishment and policy makers changed their approach to treatment for gender dysphoria in youth. Despite the updated science, activists and policymakers in Washington State continue to use emotional propaganda and pseudoscience to guide their campaigns and legislation. The science has been reviewed. We must change our ways. “She blinded me with science!” - Thomas Dolby ‧ 1982 Information war “Save the children” has been a manipulative political ploy for decades. Both major political parties have used it as a vehicle for inserting ideology into policy. It may seem trite from an experienced lens of political analysis, but the effectiveness proves its longevity as a tactic. There is a pernicious use of junk science fueling political propaganda regarding “youth gender care” in our society. The “save the children” slogan has been tied into a gordian knot of misinformation. The claims of science are used to tighten this twisted knot weaving through our community. It’s often hard to know who to trust when information outlets contradict each other with claims of factual science: “Not that science, this science. Not this science, that science.” How do parents and community members inform themselves when the information space is littered with manipulation and a constant barrage of conflicting data sets? How are they to participate when each extreme faction emotionally invokes the language of “save the children” at every turn? In the end, the very object of manipulation must be the guiding light forging a path forward to truth and reason - science. Pseudoscience, popularized through political propaganda, states that youth gender-affirming care is necessary to combat teen suicide rates. This basic emotional plea invokes the time-honored manipulation of the “save the children” mantra. But the NHS Review debunked the pseudoscience; and it presented a peer-reviewed scientific assessment of youth gender-affirming care and the holistic issue of gender dysphoria. National Health Service Commissioned Cass Review The Cass Review was an independent review of the UK's NHS gender identity services for children and young people. The scientific endeavor culminated with a lengthy 388-page review led by Dr Hilary Cass. The mission for the Cass Review as stated in the document: “The Review was commissioned by NHS England to make recommendations on how to improve NHS gender identity services, and ensure that children and young people who are questioning their gender identity or experiencing gender dysphoria receive a high standard of care, that meets their needs, is safe, holistic and effective.” Trust the Science!  Advocates for gender-affirming care often cite research to support their stance that such interventions, including puberty blockers and hormone treatments, are crucial in reducing suicide risk among transgender youth. The often-quoted study is titled “Pubertal Suppression for Transgender Youth and Risk of Suicidal Ideation.” This study suggested that transgender and gender non-conforming youth who received puberty blockers exhibited lower rates of suicidal ideation compared to those who did not.  However, the Cass Review highlights a significant methodological flaw in the study: The study did not adequately account for the underlying mental health conditions of the participants. EP-118 Bob's Task Force Adventure On November 22nd 2024 the Washington State Domestic Extremism and Mass Violence Task Force held the first meeting via video conference call. The meeting introduced the the various members of the task force, contracted consultants, and support staff. Although it was not stated, it appears that Senator Elect Bill Ramos will lead the task force. The task force is follows years of work by Governor Elect, and Attorney General Bob Ferguson. In 2022 his office published the 2022 Domestic Terrorism Study. In 2023, after a failed effort to pass legislation HB-1333 that would have created a commission to single out and reeducate victims of misinformation, propaganda, and hate speech, the legislature budgeted funding for this task force within Ferguson's office. Representative Bill Ramos was the lead sponsor of that bill. This podcast takes a listen to the various members of the task force and tries to understand the genesis of its origins. Many believe that the legislative push for government social engineering surrounding "domestic extremism" has been lead by Bob Ferguson as Attorney General, and now Governor. However, during this meeting Senator Elect Ramos, Luis Moscoso, and Jaun Peralez all claim responsibility together. Perhaps the most intriguing member of the task force is the contracted consultant from Illinois and American University, both with PERIL - The Polarization and Extremism Research and Innovation Lab. Fusion Future - The Plan What if I told you there was a plan to eliminate the effects of inflation, maintain King Dollar as the global benchmark in currency, onshore manufacturing back to the United States, and launch the Western hemisphere into a new era of prosperity and peace? And what if I told you all this could be accomplished with one technological program executed by the incoming Trump Administration? All the pieces to our Fusion Future are in place. Lawrence Livermore Labs created fusion ignition in December of 2022. The test produced more energy output than was input. The long theorized fusion technology was proven. However, a national strategy has eluded the current Biden Administration. The Technology Media oxygen for ideas and scientific breakthroughs is tough to come by in a narrative driven world that moves information hour to hour. One large factor in the hidden nature of Lawrence Livermore Labs fusion ignition is a parallel competing fusion technology that has the media power of corporate and foreign interests. There are two types of fusion energy technologies being developed. One is a smaller form factor reactor that uses magnets, coils, and kinetic motion. The other uses lasers to create inertial fusion energy.. Many entities across the globe are racing to develop the first functioning Tokamak reactor - the type of technology that uses magnets and coils. China, Russia, South Korea, the United Kingdom, and even the Vatican are developing a Tokamak reactor. Here in Washington State, Microsoft recently invested in a local company, Helion, that is at the forefront of private commercial development of fusion energy using magnets and coils in design. The Fusion Future plan for a national fusion project uses the laser based system developed by the Department of Energy at Lawrence Livermore Labs. It’s natural that the numerous commercial and foreign government projects get all the attention, while the laser based system is relegated to internal DOE press releases. To be clear, the Lawrence Livermore Labs fusion ignition is the most significant proof of concept test in energy production history. The Fusion Future plan will develop industrial scale giant lasers to create a thermonuclear fusion reaction. This method has been proven, and can be scaled to industrial size capabilities. Think of one industrial fusion reactor powering the entire Pacific Northwest with clean sustainable energy. The Tokamak design using magnets and coils is being developed for small form factor use, like powering tech data centers. This is a battle of commercial interests versus a big idea for national interests. The Money In 2022 John Podesta was put in charge of $370 billion in clean energy investments as part of the Green New Deal. That program morphed into the Inflation Reduction Act. The act created a jobs program based on debt, to supposedly fight inflation, while tackling the climate crisis. $370 billion is a lot of money already budgeted for green new technology. This year that program morphed into the Green New Deal for Public Housing Act. This act allocated $230 billion to change-over all public housing into zero carbon high efficient homes. Meanwhile, just recently congressional representatives and Lawrence Livermore Labs announced a $16 million boost in funding to achieve the Department of Energy goal of fusion energy commercialization within a decade. Yes, $16 million was touted as a boost in funding to a $630 million fusion budget. And yes, remember the US taxpayers through their representatives budgeted $370 billion in Green New Deal funding that prioritizes windmills, jobs programs based on foreign sourced resources like solar, and high efficiency homes, over advanced laser technology that could change the world. EP-116 Outrage in the Pacific Northwest The title of this episode was difficult. First thought - Logically Illogical Constitutionality. Second thought - The Foreign Technological List Makers. It's hard to encapsulate something so complex and yet so simple into a show title. In the end I wanted to honor my guest, Eric Crowl, aka @OutragePNW. He is one of thousands of American citizen volunteers pushing legal mechanisms to hold government accountable and attempt to bring transparency to a complex system of partisan control.
