Bishop Tim Dailey and Dr. John DelHousaye discuss the subject of the Ten Commandments (see Exodus 20:1-17). Since we are no longer under the law, but under grace, do they really have any relevance for us today? Is it true that the law enslaves us and grace sets us free? If so, what do I do with this portion of Scripture? Are these ten commandments even possible for us today? Should we observe the Sabbath? What does it mean to honor our parents? How should New Covenant believers who have fully embraced the truth of the Gospel respond to these commandments? If we truly believe that all Scripture is God-breathed and given for our good and spiritual edification, what about the ten commandments?

Bishop Tim Dailey and Dr. John DelHousaye discuss the subject of how a disciple of Jesus is to approach the Old Testament Scriptures. Does the OT apply to me today? Should I only look at it as a historical account of a certain ancient people? What about 2 Timothy 3:16-17? Is all Scripture profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness? If so, what about the Old Testament? How should we read this portion of God's Word? What is a New Covenant believer to glean from the study of the OT? What would be the spiritual impact on a believer if he or she refuses to accept the validity of the Old Testament for them today?

Bishop Tim Dailey and Dr. John DelHousaye discuss the growing issue of deconstruction of the faith. Numbers of once professing believers are now in the process of deconstructing their faith and turning away from the church. So many are now declaring that they no longer identify as a Christian. Why? Some are saying it is because they were hurt by the church or leadership within the church. Others are saying it is because of the hypocrisy within the church. What is happening? How are we to respond to those who say they are deconstructing their faith? How do we guard ourselves from going down this path? Is this a new problem or an old one resurfacing with a new name? What lessons are we to learn, and what steps should the church be taking to address this problem?

In this episode Bishop Tim and Dr. John discuss a very important theological term--"Hypostatic Union." This is the mystery of Christ being fully God and fully human at the same time--the union of two natures.
Is this an important term for us to understand? How does this union of two natures impact my life and walk? If I don't grasp this truth, what false teachings am I susceptible to adopting?
Galatians 2:20 (NIV) says, "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me."
I have been united to His humanity. To be united with Christ in our human nature means that we are connected to Him in His divine nature. The divine nature is penetrating us and transforming us. The Hypostatic Union is the way that we are being transformed into the fullness of what God created us to be in His image. It is the basis for sanctification; it is what makes holiness possible; it is what allows us to walk in faithfulness and obedience. This is all possible because of the "Hypostatic Union" of Christ.

As hard as 2020 has been, it has definitely been an opportunity for God to speak loudly to His Church and expose some of our major weaknesses and failures. I am excited to have my son Pastor Aaron Dailey join me today as we reflect on some of the sins and weakness that God has exposed in us individually and in His Church corporately in 2020. We will also be discussing some lessons we need to learn as we prepare to move into the challenges of 2021 and beyond. I encourage all of our Pastors and leaders to listen carefully to what Pastor Aaron shares, and take this opportunity to prepare diligently for where God is leading us.
Please encourage everyone to listen, subscribe, and share the link with others.

This week Bishop Tim talks about how we can overcome the “giants” in our lives. 2020 has been a year full of massive giants that we have had to face as individuals and as a ministry. Our tendency during these seasons is to see the bigness of our giants and the smallness of ourselves. When we do this, we end up cowering in fear and retreating from the blessings that God has in store for us. Don’t be a victim to the Grasshopper Complex. Instead, let’s be an overcomer and embrace what God has promised us.
Please encourage everyone to listen, subscribe, and share the link with others.

Pastor Ben Dailey, Lead Pastor of Calvary Church and the founder and leader of Gospel Circle of Churches and Ministries (GCCM), is joining us today to talk to us about the “Good News” of the Gospel and what truly occurs when someone embraces the life-changing message of the Gospel. Why are so many professing Christians still stuck to vices, addictions, hurts, and bad habits? Why don’t those who profess to know and love Jesus live free and full lives? If I am truly unstuck, why do I still FEEL stuck to vices and addictions? Pastor Ben will be addressing these kinds of questions with New Covenant Gospel truth that will transform the way you live. In this episode of Connect, Rick and Lisa Caynor, missionaries now living in Spain, share their story with Bishop Tim and Laurie Dailey. The Caynor's went through an incredible challenge and it seemed like their life and ministry as they knew it would be over for them. In fact, Rick was told by the doctors that there was no hope for his wife Lisa to survive an unbelievable car accident that occurred while she was driving home after a short appointment. Lisa laid in a coma in a hospital in Bangkok, Thailand for over three months. The family cried out for God's healing and stood in faith believing that God still had a plan for their lives. This time of testing resulted in a powerful testimony of God's loving care, protection, and provision.
The year 2020 has indeed been a challenging year for all of us. Many of you are facing impossible circumstances and it seems that you have no hope. However, in this episode we learn that God is always with us, He will NEVER leave us or forsake us. Listen and share this powerful message of encouragement and hope with your friends and family.
