It certainly was captivating to watch as we see how the MCU uses shameful memories to build out some characters and force them to face their own past. Does it work? Daredevil Born Again Season 1 wrapped up about a week ago and we wanted to revisit the show and see how it "stuck the landing," as Savon would say. We discuss the parallels of Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk, the greatness of Jon Bernthal as the Punisher, and a whole bunch more. Enjoy the pod!

We all had a chance to check out Adolescence on Netflix. There was a lot to like about the unique portrayal of the lives of pre-teen boys and the perils of growing up in the age of social media and algorithms. It's a show that sticks with you for a while. We also spent a little time updating each other on our respective NBA teams as they look forward to the post-season.

Daredevil Born Again premiered on Disney Plus recently. It is a spiritual successor to the Netflix Daredevil show from several years ago. We checked out the first few episodes and wondered if we'd enjoy it, what had changed since then, and how the show fit into the MCU. We were excited to see Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio play such iconic characters on screen again!

We watched the Invincible Season 3 finale and had a blast. Come along as the regular dudes break it down.

The Marvel's first MCU project of 2025 comes in the form of Sam Wilson and Thaddeus Ross. Captain America: Brave New World opens with some great action sequences and falters a bit when establishing the plot of the movie and who the characters are. We also noticed that the movie seemed to shy away from making Sam Wilson's race a centerpiece of the hero's experience. Not to toot our own horn, but as soon as we got done recording, Savon said, "I really enjoyed that conversation. I think we were able to pick up on a lot of stuff in that one."

This isn't a complete NBA trade deadline pod. It's really just what got recorded while we were talking about stuff we thought was interesting related to the NBA trade deadline. We talked about the Cavs, Luka, which players are championship stars, playing pickup, and the OKC Thunder. Savon may or may not have taken this as an opportunity to ridicule Wesley.
