In this live session, Combat Ready Instructor Louis Zezeran will sit down with Boris Ümarik, who is a Training Facilitator for Produktiivsusklubi. Do you need help organizing yourself? Feeling swamped by tasks and projects? Having trouble to prioritize and think deeply on a day to day basis because the latest emergency always arises? Your value as a knowledge worker is your deep attention. It is kind of strange that while so many of us are knowledge workers, as a society we haven't really agreed on what are the core skills needed. "You need to prioritize your time!" Ok sure, but how do I do this? I am swamped and everyone wants more time and attention from me. Boris and the team at Produktiivsusklubi help individuals and teams with time management. He will bring some great practical examples of how you can better consider and plan your day. Louis brings a perspective of self leadership. Do I have a simple plan? How can I find out what is the priority? Should I work on several things at once? (hint: nope) Join Louis & Boris for a spirited chat about the intersection of time management and personal leadership.
In this recorded live 1 hour podcast, Combat Ready Instructors Robert Käsper and Louis Zezeran talk about season 1 of Robert's Delfi podcast "Eriväelase jutud". Over the first 10 episodes, Robert spoke to a range of top Estonian national security experts including Minister of Defense Hanno Pevkur, General (ret.) Riho Terras, Command Sergeant Major of the Army Enn Adoson. In this LinkedIn live, Robert will share some of the best stories and insights from his guests. We will discuss how they have used Leadership to solve some of the most difficult questions facing our country today. The "Eriväelase jutud" was originally recorded in Estonian however this LinkedIn live will be entirely in English. We would like to provide a opportunity for everyone to hear these stories.
In this special episode, Combat Ready CEO & COO, Remo Ojaste & Eerik Heldna sit down and give us an overview of the history of Estonia in 90 minutes. From the early days of the first peoples to arrive into these lands, through the first steps to nationhood, soviet occupation and finally a free modern democracy. Remo & Eerik also reflect on the development of our nation and how the 4 Laws of Leadership have been applied by our nations forebears along the path. We think this episode is important to get anyone up to speed who hasn't yet heard the story of Estonia and how it defines who we are and who Combat Ready is today. We are proud to have our CEO & COO sit down and have this interesting discussion on camera. We hope it gives you some insight into the mindset of our small nation and how that has influenced our Combat Ready team.
At Combat Ready we believe everyone is a leader, no matter the rank or title you have. Leadership means influence, the ability to guide your subordinates, your team mates and your boss. No matter where you sit in the org chart, you can demonstrate positive influence to those around you. You don't need to be born a leader. Leadership is a skill and like any other skill you can learn, practice and improve. This 1 hour self learning course presented by Combat Ready Instructor Louis Zezeran, provides the fundamental knowledge you need to start to practice and improve your own leadership skills. In this course we will cover * The 4 Laws of Combat Leadership * The Mindsets to Victory The 4 Laws provide an actionable framework you can use to improve your leadership and solve your challenges in this area The Mindsets educate us about the natural human tenancies which stop us from utilizing the 4 Laws effectively "Simple, but not easy" is how we describe this material. Nothing in this course is out of the box revolutionary, it presents fundamentals of human nature in a simple, clear and concise manner. The 4 Laws of Combat and The Mindsets to Victory are based on the book "Extreme Ownership" by former Navy Seals Jocko Willink and Leif Babin. Combat Ready is proud to be the official European partner of their consulting company, Echelon Front.
Coming up on this LinkedIn Live Combat Ready Instructor Louis Zezeran will speak with crisis management expert Janis Vanags.
Janis was in a senior leadership position in airBaltic during several years of extremely difficult challenges. After this was brought onto the board of Maxima to develop the company's crisis management procedures in the wake of the terrible building collapse in 2013.
He is currently spearheading a new NGO called "CIREN - Civilian Resilience Nordic" who's goal is to share the learnings of crisis management across the Nordics and enable these learnings to be filtered down to a national, regional and household level.
Janis and I will speak about:
While we can not know every possible situation, the experience Janis has says that if an organization does their risk assessment and plans for the a variety of outcomes, they will be in a far, far better position to deal with the unknown unknowns which will arise.
By implementing standard procedures for dealing with crisis moments, this also seems to diffuse into the company's overall culture. When teams see the value of producing crisis procedures, they understand better the value of producing procedures for their day to day work as well.

Kuidas juhtida last läbi eeskuju? Mil moel olla toeks oma lapsele? Kuidas temasse sisendada eneseväärtustamist? Kuidas luua rohkem positiivseid mälestusi? Need on vaid mõned küsimused, millele lisaks sellele episoodile aitab vastuseid leida ka Mindsetfitness ja Combat Ready koostöös korraldatav iga-aastane "Isad ja pojad" bootcamp: https://mindsetfitness.ee/isadpojad-bootcamp/ "Lihtsam on tugevaid lapsi kasvatada kui katkiseid mehi parandada." When you think about the journey of a nation, it's often the stories of its people that give colour to the black-and-white pages of history. In the latest episode of Combat Ready Frontline Podcast, we are introduced to a man whose life is a reflection of Estonia's struggle, growth, and development, Combat Ready Instructor Eerik Heldna.
Eerik's story isn't just about a career in public service; it's a story that reflects the fabric of Estonia's re-independence. Imagine being a young beat cop, witnessing the chaotic beauty of a country reborn, the lawlessness of once-forbidden streets now teeming with life and opportunity. This is where Eerik's tale begins, in the no-go zones of Tallinn, which today buzz with the vibrant energy of hipster culture and artisan cafes.
Host Louis Zezeran takes us on a journey through Eerik's eyes, exploring the transformation of Estonia from the ground up. From the gritty reality of drug enforcement to the strategic intricacies of military intelligence, Eerik's career is a testament to the power of being "default aggressive" — a mindset of seizing opportunities and serving one's nation with fervour.
