7 years ago, I crossed the finish line of my first ultramarathon. 60 kilometres, over 8 hours of running, and absolutely no idea if I’d even make it to the end.
In this episode, I share the story behind that race, from early morning solo training runs, to being “dumped” by my training partners, to the emotional and physical battle of making it to the finish line.
But this isn’t just about running. It’s about doing hard things, the kind of challenges you take on purely for yourself.
We all face moments in life where we doubt what we’re capable of, but it’s in those moments of discomfort and uncertainty that we grow the most. When you do something hard, you prove to yourself that you can handle difficult things and that belief spills into every other part of your life.
So, what’s your ultramarathon?
What’s the hard thing you want to do purely for you?
Tune in for a raw and honest conversation about self-belief, resilience and how pushing beyond your comfort zone builds confidence and opportunity in every area of life.
Hope you enjoy this episode
