Calvin Robinson-Texas Tech Assistant Men's and Women's Sprints and Hurdles Coach.
Texas Tech Red Raiders won their first NCAA outdoor National Championship in 2019. A big part of the effort came from the sprints and hurdles group. Led by Divine Oduduru's NCAA record runs of 9.86 in the 100m and 19.73 in the 200m, the Red Raiders won one of the most competitive NCAA Championship meets in recent history. Calvin Robinson coached the sprints and hurdles and played a significant part in the development of Oduduru and Andrew Hudson as well as others. On this episode Coach Robinson talks about everything from his training philosopy, to the communication with his athletes throughout the season.
