Dr. Kristin Lyerly joins the Matenaer on Air Show with Jane and Greg to talk about the recent press conference from President Trump regarding Tylenol and the unsubstantiated claim of its link to autism if taken by pregnant folks. Dr. Lyerly lays it out in plain flavored English that the study referenced by The White House, while having data which is corroborated, is very narrow in its scope and shouldn't be used to issue such a decree from the president. She also stresses the importance of taking all questions to your doctor, listening to the experts and Dr. Lyerly reassures those who have children with autism, that they did nothing wrong and it isn't their fault. Last but certainly not least, we have Valley Focus, with Lisa Hale. Ieva Engel, the executive director of the Oshkosh Area Humane Society, joins Lisa to discuss the success of the Walk for the Animals fundraising event, and the Grey Muzzle Grant the shelter has received for medical care for senior animals.
