What Makes A Movie Evil?
We took the plunge. We look at sin dead in the eyes. We ask, "What are you?". No reply. We dive deeper. Our eyes start to water. The stench in the air so foul we begin to puke. "How much deeper can evil go?". Helplessly, we grope around traveling deeper into hell. Our senses becoming so overwhelmed, we can hardly grasp reality. Every coherent thought in our heads evaporates under the pressure . SMACK! "Is this the bottom?". "What is it?" "I can hardly breathe!" "Is...is that who I think it is?". For a moment clarity strikes us. We fall to our knees in awe struck horror of the knowledge that we can only ever truely know one thing in this world. Ryan Reynolds is evil.

David Lynch Retrospective
Despite my typical silly little descriptions and the funny little edit at the beginning of this video, David Lynch will be deeply missed. The impact that he has made on everyone's lives here at Cinematographilogically Speaking is one of the main reasons we have all become friends, while also facilitating our interests not just in film, but into the world of ideas in general. Thank you David Lynch for being an inspiration for us and so many. Every Best Picture Winner Sucked
Remember that movie you watched in your high school English class? Yeah we thought it sucked. That movie you nervously took your date to and she was just on her phone the whole time? Yeah that sucked too. That movie poster you bought from a mall kiosk? You guessed it, that also sucked.   Recorded 8-23-24

Drop and give my 20! Drop what you're doing and write a book! Drop d3ad! Look, I know you might find your own body to be disgusting but for what its worth everyone else also finds your body disgusting, so I suggest you fix that. Sorry that was mean, it's just I really don't care how "comfy" your sweats are, we're conducting a military coup today and I need you to look presentable.  Steven---4.6, Brody 4.5, Ennis--3.8, Jacob--4.4, Troy--4.2   Recorded 8-10-24

Podcast 39. The Terrorizers (1986)
I want you to imagine this podcast as one of those round table discussions where a bunch of high status entertainment people are all having a discussion, except instead of looking at each other, they're all looking directly at the camera. Sure we're talking to each other, but truely we're talking to you, dear viewer, is that not what this recording is for? It's just a podcast.... it's not real life.   Troy - 4.3, Jacob - 3.0, Brody 3.3   Recorded 2-24-24

I'm sorry to let you know audience, but what you are listening to is a file copied from my computer. Only I possess the original. You then exclaim to me, because at this point you are very very angry, "There is no difference, I'm listening to it all the same!" Sure thing buster. Is googling an image of the Mona Lisa is the same thing as viewing it the Louvre? Come to my house right now.    Scores: Troy -- 3.9, Steven -- 3.9, Brody -- 3.9, Jacob -- 4.4   Recorded 9-2-2023

As I crack the door to the outside world and the first rays of the morning sunlight caress my face, I looked up. *BONG* *BONG* *BONG*. THIS PODCAST IS ON FIRE! Just kidding! Or...metaphorically we are? This podcast actually has a super secrete Easter egg where it starts the same way that it ends. Can you find it? It's just like the movie haha, which is also just like Life. For all those who start this podcast, you will finish this podcast. It's quite sad isn't it? But also kind of beautiful.    Scores: Troy -- 3.99, John -- 4.2, Steve -- 4.3, Jacob -- 4.2, Brody -- 4.7   Recorded 6-8-2023

All of these symbols are making me sick to my stomach! Cinematographilogically speaking is the Boullée of the podcasting world. Few creations, but big BIG ideas (on paper). CinematographilogicallySpeaking Productions does not give a HECK about awards. That's how free thinking we are. We identify a lot with The Joker in that way. We get to the Real (as we have a very long history of doing so on this pod), and we Really didn't like this flick. It's been a while, how've you been? Everything ok? Cool, cool. Well, we're back and all that, and if you're wondering why this description is as low quality as the audio quality of this pod, it's because Brody is on vacation. Weekly 27. The Color of Pomegranates (1969)
Jacob was in downtown LA when he ran into Serj Tankian in a coffee house. Jacob tried to get his copy of manufacturing consent signed by Serj, but instead Serj just handed Jacob a copy of "Color of Pomegranates" and went on a half hour long rant lamenting how ignorant Americans are of the great and proud history of Armenia. Once he was done with his tirade he let out a scream, raised his fist, then threw a brick through the pane glass window of the coffee shop, hopped into his Tesla Model 3, and drove off.
