God desires for us. When Israel failed to reach the Promised Land the first time, they came to a halt. They wandered in the desert instead of getting what God had promised due to their disobedience.
Our stopping short may be the result of hanging on to a sin or refusing to obey God's path in some areas, but the end result is the same: we miss out on God's blessings because we wander around.
In our spiritual journeys, we all come to this fork in the road. God does not put us on this earth for no reason; He has a divine plan for each of us. However, as we strive to follow His lead, we face challenges.
We will never be victorious if we face challenges with our own might. God is there to assist us in facing life's challenges. When we face difficulties, He is there to help us overcome them. Not as a last resort, but as a first choice, we can communicate with God.
Therefore, with minds that are alert and fully sober, set your hope on the grace to be brought to you when Jesus Christ is revealed at his coming. - 1 Peter 1:13
What is Wisdom? Do each of us have wisdom? Where does our Wisdom come from?
Wisdom in the Bible "is knowing the greatest goal in any situation, and the best way to achieve that goal." Wisdom sees the big picture in sharp focus, with each component in its proper place in relation to the rest. Wisdom is not the same as intelligence. It is possible to have intelligence without wisdom. But you can't have wisdom without knowledge, because in order to figure out the best way to accomplish a goal, you need to be able to combine, or fuse together, a variety of variables from different sources of knowledge and experience.
Now, with those can you confirm that You Got Wisdom?
Do you have someone that always comforts you in your darkest days? The one who listens to your endless cry?
It is amazing how Christ will rush down from his throne to wrap his loving arms around us during our darkest times. God's love for us is truly amazing. We sometimes believe that if we do more for God, he will love us more. We think this way because we are prone to love others based on conditions. Some may think that they need to be perfect to be loved
Christ's followers have been commanded to go and tell.
If we are to see lives saved and won to Christ we need to see the harvest as Jesus saw the harvest of spiritually lost people dying and facing a Christ-less eternity. Jesus' heart grieves over every soul. God grieves because those who die without Christ never know how much he loves them.
“Be the change you wish to see in the world.”
-Mahatma Gandhi
God created us to be a life-changing influence for His kingdom--to make other people's lives better by leading them to His eternal life. We are the salt of the earth; therefore, don't miss your opportunity to have a lasting influence on the world.
In our time, however, obeying God's commands often is ignored, dismissed, or glossed over. Why? Because it confronts our sin. It challenges our lives.
Yet God commands us to obey, not because he is on a power trip, but rather because he wants what's best for us. Disobey those commands and quickly you will see how much sadness you can experience. God's commands are not to box us in but for our protection.
The family is to live together in unity and oneness for the good of all, love must be present at all times. Where there is no love, there can't be a family, and if there is, it is a successful, progressing and profiting family.
The most important thing we can do to nourish the love in our families is to live the first great commandment. For God is the source of all truth and love.
Ever since we are a child, we've heard a lot of stories from the bible. For you, What is the Greatest Story in the bible?
In a world with no idea who the real Jesus is, In a world with no idea what the real message of Christianity is,
In a world with no idea what the good news of the gospel is, The book of Acts is a constant reminder;
That you and I “Can’t just sit there.”
Reaching people for Jesus requires action!
Would you dare to fail?
Failing or Failure is what most people fear. Success is what everyone is striving to achieve, but on your way to triumph you will encounter difficulties and challenges that will either make you fail or make you strive harder.
Everyone has experienced failing, when we fail we gain. We gain knowledge, experience and more. Failing isn't that bad.
Prayer is a time we can draw near to God. A time we can spend talking with and concentrating all of our thoughts upon God. In these moments of quietness, where the only presence other than ours is God’s, we learn how to hear and respond to his will.
A company of praying people is a company of people equally dependent on God. But we also come to prayer with equally good help. The most eloquent spiritual giant and the most timid new believer can pray boldly together because Jesus prays for them both.
Witnessing doesn't have to be a daunting prospect, because there are so many different ways that we can do it.
It's comforting to know that we can be a witness in more ways than one. Aside from the reason of wanting other people to know the same peace, joy and love that comes with a relationship with Christ, sharing the gospel and our testimonies is what we're explicitly called to do. The act of sharing our faith isn't just for the benefit of non-believers, other Christians can be motivated by our attitude too.
When people linger, they think of things that forbid them to go to or do the things that they are supposed to. When people linger, there's always something or someone who is the reason for being reluctant to leave.
"Enter the ark, you and all your household for I have seen that you alone are righteous before me in this generation."
In our world today, would you choose to be righteous or unrighteous?
Just look at the ark as heaven. With your household you will enter heaven because you are righteous. Come to him and you will be saved. He has a place for each and every one of us. He has planned everything for us. The only thinh you need to do is come to him.
Ever wondered why, what you always prayed sometimes end up not being given to you?
There are list of things that we always wanted. We prayed and strived hard to achieve those but there are times that it isn't given to us.
Do not be worried, do not lose faith. Our God has always the greatest plan for us. Maybe what you want was not meant for you because you deserve something bigger than that. Or maybe the time isn't just perfect.
14 For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. 15 And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.
16 So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come:[a] The old has gone, the new is here! 18 All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: 19 that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 20 We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. 21 God made him who had no sin to be sin[b] for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. - 2 Corinthians 5:14-21
- LUKE 1:31-33
When Jesus was born, King Herod sent 3 wise men to investigate and gather information just to kill Him. But eventually, his plan did not happen and His mission to save us still prevail.
Just like today, because of the situations we are experiencing this year, we may not feel the Christmas spirit at all. We might think that today is not the right time to celebrate. But remember that Jesus still lives despite of the challenges they faced even before He was born.
Nang pasimula ay naroon na ang Salita; ang Salita ay kasama ng Diyos, at ang Salita ay Diyos. Sa pasimula ay kasama na siya ng Diyos. - JUAN 1:1-2
