Most Christians accept that there is a spiritual world that is out there. But is there more than just angels and demons? How do they interact, if at all with out current existence? These any many more questions can find a Biblical framework in what is known as the Divine Council Worldview that takes many of the "weird" and often skipped over parts of the Old and New Testaments to help the modern Christian reconstruct the spiritual worldview that the authors and audiences of Scripture would have had.

How are we supposed to talk to God? Does He want us asking questions or even pushing back? J. Richard Middleton tackles this important question with his new book, Abraham’s Silence: The Binding of Isaac, the Suffering of Job, and How to Talk Back to God. Maybe how many of us look at our relationship with God is more one-way than it should be. And to really get to know God means asking questions.
