Episode 255 | Jenn Chenoweth | Out To Get Me

On today's show, we chat with Jenn Chenoweth!

South Florida-based singer/songwriter and SEU Worship alum Jenn Chenoweth about her debut EP, Out To Get Me. The autobiographical project released August 29th!

The daughter of a pastor, Jenn was raised with a firm foundation of faith, but she grappled with anxiety and low self-esteem for many years and struggled to view God as a loving father. In addition, in 2019 her jaw unexpectedly locked open while she was eating lunch one day. This triggered constant chronic pain for nearly two years as Jenn received various treatments for TMJ disorder. Through this lengthy healing process, God began to reveal even greater depths of His love for her, rekindling Jenn’s passion to proclaim His goodness through music. The EP title, Out To Get Me, reflects Jenn’s ultimate realization that God wasn’t out to get her like a taskmaster, but He was out to get her and bring her to Him—a loving Father, Shepherd and Friend.

Episode 246 | Eauclaire

On today's show, we chat with Eauclaire!
Eauclaire (pronounced "ō-claire") is about family, but started as a group of college friends in 2010 who wanted to change the way that people experience music. After a 7 year hiatus from all of the band members moving to different states, starting new lives, getting married, having babies, etc.they came back together to release their debut album “Océan Bleu” in 2019 with songs like “Ocean Floor”, “Compass”, and “Depths” which can be heard in the Netflix series “All American”.
In 2022, the band released their sophomore album, “Timber” during a season of what seemed like springtime and new growth, but was riddled with loss, heartache, and an attempt to find joy amongst so much sorrow. After several years of writing, working on new music, traveling, and sharing these songs with the world, the boys are back in 2025 with a brand new, band-oriented sound and passion for family, love, possibility, and adventure. Using real life metaphors and finding the beauty in the everyday, the band uses visceral landscapes, emotive harmonic textures, and timeless sounds to tell the story of the human condition and challenge listeners to be fully present in their own journey.

Episode 244 | Rachael Mann | Unfiltered

On today's show, we chat with Rachael Mann!

At the age of seven, Rachael discovered her passion for singing—a gift she attributes to God. Self-trained and a pianist by ear, she quickly developed an ear for harmonies, allowing her to explore her musical talents with ease.

Rachael began her musical journey in church, performing her first solo at ten years old with "Somebody Love Me" by Michael W. Smith. Little did she know, nearly a decade later, she would sing with him on one of his albums.

Rachael’s career gained momentum as she opened for renowned artists such as J. Moss, Salvador, Jars of Clay, and Big Daddy Weave. During the early years of Church of the Highlands’ launch in Birmingham, she also served as one of its primary worship leaders. In addition to her live performances, Rachael lent her voice to commercial jingles for major brands including McDonald’s and Williamson Medical Center in Nashville. She also has been in several music videos for artists such as Brandon Heath “Give Me Your Eyes” and Salvador “What Would It Be Like”.

Relocating to Nashville allowed Rachael to further pursue her dreams. She appeared on two episodes of The 700 Club and worked on her second music project, “The First Noel”, while performing for various events and festivals including CTN Network’s “Bridges”. Her contributions to Michael W. Smith’s Hymns album reached fans nationwide. In 2016, Rachael had the incredible opportunity to sing with Carrie Underwood at the CMT Awards. Rachael has also been a Production Assistant for American Idol and the GMA Dove Awards.

As a recurring guest on Atlanta Live and Atlanta & Company, Rachael has touched millions of viewers. She has been featured on National and Internation radio stations including 93.7 WDJC, Revocation Radio, WIAM Radio, and Victory 91.5 FM, The Antidote, Effect Radio and more!

Notably, Rachael's song "Control" was produced by Nathan Walters, a RIAA Gold & Platinum Certified, Dove Award-winning artist and member of Plus One. She has had the honor of singing the National Anthem for various sports teams, including the Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Dream, The Savannah Bananas and the Kansas City Royals to name a few, and was a top finalist on Nationally Syndicated The Bert Show for a Thanksgiving song contest.

Rachael released her Christmas single, “O Come, O Come Emmanuel,” in collaboration with producer Nathan Walters on November 1st, 2024.

Rachael Mann’s powerful new single, "Unfiltered," is out now! This deeply personal song invites listeners into a place of raw honesty and total vulnerability before the Lord — a reminder that true worship begins when we lay down the masks and come just as we are.

Episode 243 | Dan Dean | More

On today's show, we chat with Dan Dean!

Dan Dean’s love for music and performing began when he started taking piano lessons in the third grade. He involved himself musically in his father’s church starting at the age of sixteen and continued to do so until he graduated high school. Upon graduation, he attended Jackson College of Ministries in Jackson, MS before eventually finishing with a BSA from Dallas Baptist University.

Dan started pursuing the call of ministry at a very early age and has been a passionate follower of Christ. His life was greatly influenced by his father, his father-in-law, and his four brothers; all of whom have devoted their lives to ministry. Dan himself has been full-time in ministry for the past 49 years.

In early 1992, he was invited to join with friends Randy Phillips and Shawn Craig in recording an album for Starsong Records. The first release of their self-title project, Phillips, Craig, and Dean spawned four #1 songs; two on the A/C charts and two on the Inspo chart, and peaked at #13 on the Christian album sales charts. Since that debut project, Phillips, Craig, and Dean have released 13 studio albums, two Christmas albums, and a Hymns and Psalms album. Along the way, the group has garnered 13 Dove Award nominations, and won on four separate occasions, while selling over 2.5 million albums. Their hit single, ‘Revelation Song,’ released in 2009, was certified Gold by RIAA, and they have been honored to see over 20 songs top the charts.

During this time, Dan has also written or co-written many of the hits recorded by Phillips, Craig, and Dean including ‘Favorite Song of All,’ which was nominated for a Dove Award for Contemporary Christian Song of the Year, and ‘I Want to Be Just Like You,’ which received a nomination for Inspirational Song of the Year.

In January of 2000, Dan and his wife Becky were asked to lead the church they had already been serving for 15 years. In October of 2019, he stepped down from the Lead Pastor role, but continues to be involved in the Heartland faith family. In June of 2025, he and his wife Becky will celebrate 40 years of being partners of Heartland Church.

Today, Dan continues to travel and perform as the lead singer of Phillips, Craig, and Dean, but has also stepped into a new chapter by recording a solo album, entitled More. The new project features 11 songs, eight of which he either wrote or co-wrote. More has also allowed him to return to his country roots, where he feels most at home vocally.  In addition to touring with Phillips, Craig, and Dean, Dan looks forward to sharing this new music with audiences across the country at select solo dates.

Episode 238 | John Allan

On today's Friday edition, we chat with John Allan!

Southern California native, multi-instrumentalist and indie rock, alt-pop artist John Allan releases his Centricity Music debut single, “Living God,” which is available now at streaming and digital outlets everywhere!  From the very first synth-laced chord progression, the song sonically recalls The Killers and is lyrically meant to incite awe and praise.

Written with Benji Cowart and Kyle Williams, who also produced the track, Allan says, “My prayer is that people put on ‘Living God’ and are not afraid to believe again. Maybe even someone who’s jaded, who’s mad at the church, who had this wonder when they were young. I pray they listen to this song and are able to find that wonder again and to know there is a God who created imagination; and He’s planted that in the souls of His children. I hope it shakes cars and makes darkness run

Inspired by the sounds of artists like The Killers, The National, Gang of Youths, Bon Iver and Novo Amor, Allan’s music is a creative feast for the senses that fuses both his sonic influences and his genuine love for Jesus. With original tracks that reflect his church-centric upbringing and love of leading worship at his local SoCal church, Allan shares, “God — He’s the fine artist. He is the giver of gifts, but He really is the gift. No matter what I do, it’s secondary to Him.

“I almost look at it like God is the big steak on the plate, and music is the fork and the knife; and I have the honor of cutting it and getting to feed it to people,” adds Allan. “Like, ‘Hey, look right here. Look how good He is.’ I create for the Creator, praying my music bridges the gap so people can experience Him.”
