If you haven’t and are ready to accept Jesus into your life today I provided a prayer below from the book Psalm 91 by Peggy Joyce Ruth:

Dear God:

I believe You gave your Son, Jesus, to die for me. I believe He shed His blood to pay for my sins and that You raised Him from the dead so I can be Your child and live with You eternally in heaven. I am asking Jesus to come into my heart right now and save me. I confess Him as the Lord and Master of my life. I thank You, dear Lord, for loving me enough to lay down Your life for me. Take my life now and use it for Your glory. I ask for all that You have for me.

In Jesus' name, amen

Hey y’all, Welcome to back to season 2 of the podcast!! It feels really great to be back and to deliver this week’s topic to y’all! So, for today’s episode I will be talking about how your age doesn’t disqualify God from using you to help advance His kingdom. I read a few points from two articles and then I go into detail with my own personal talking points! I hope y’all enjoy this week’s episode!

Spiritual Warfare: The Armor of God and How to Apply It to Your Life PT. 2

Hey y’all welcome back to episode 12 of the podcast! This week is actually the last episode for season 1 and will also wrap up our two part series on spiritual warfare. It has been a great first season and I hope y’all have enjoyed it and learned something as well!

For today’s discussion I go into each piece of the armor of God and give a brief summary over what each piece represents and how it can and should be applied to our life! I didn’t use any articles for this episode but rather I allowed the Holy Spirit to guide me on what to say and how to say it!

I’m learning that God gives us as individuals different points to make and we should allow the Holy Spirit to speak through us! I’m going to try my best for the next season to have more of my personal perspective and use what the Lord has showed me about the topic! I still will probably use articles at some point because I do value what the Lord gives others to say!

Bible Hub Reference for the number 949 :https://biblehub.com/greek/949.htm

I didn’t mention this in the episode but I recently finished reading a book about spiritual warfare and I think it is such a great read! I highly recommend looking into this book because the author gives such great insight into spiritual warfare and how it can look for us. The tittle of the book is called “ What about Spiritual Warfare?” It’s by Douglas J. Rumford.

Thank y’all for the support y’all have given me for this first season! I really do hope you will continue to join me for season 2!

Bitterness: A Sickness

Welcome Back y’all for this week’s topic on bitterness. This does wrap up the three part series on anger, resentment, and bitterness. In this episode, I take a look at the effects that bitterness can have on the person harboring those kinds of feelings and how it can be just like a sickness that if not properly dealt with can cause destruction. I also take a biblical look at what the Bible says about this topic and apply scriptural understanding as well!

Resentment: A Heart Problem

Hey Y’all! This week is the topic of resentment and how just like anger can cause true destruction and harm to others in our lives but also ourselves. I explain the different ways resentment can take a hold on your life and as well as what the Bible says about how we should handle it!

Scriptures I referenced:

Ephesians 4:31-32 (NKJV): “Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.”

Leviticus 19:18 (NIV and NKJV): “Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against anyone among your people, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the Lord.”

NKJV: “You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord.”
