Street Sharks
Episode 89 – Street Sharks
This week’s “user request” comes from Shawn…thank you, Shawn!? Street Sharks is arguably one of, if not THE most Toyetic animated series we’ve ever watched. Sean argues it is also one of the worst shows we’ve ever watched, while Chris is not so sure. Chris as been hoping to cover this show for over a year and really has been wanting to talk about a pretty big conspiracy around this show. Some of it involving Henry Winkler? I guess you’ll just have to listen and see what we’re talking about.
From Wikipedia:
Street Sharks is an American-Canadian animated series about the adventures of crime-fighting half-man/half-sharks. It was produced by DIC Entertainment and aired from 1994 to 1997, originally as a part of the Amazin’ Adventures lineup.[2]Later, in 1996, the Street Sharks teamed up with the Dino Vengers and the show became Dino Vengers Featuring Street Sharks. It was created to promote an existing Mattel toy line of the same name. The creators were David Siegel and Joe Galliani of Mr. Joe’s Really Big Productions.
Highlights:
Mattel, Robert Askin, Phil Harnage, Ron Myrick, Seth Kearsley, Ron Harris, Michael Benghiat, Louis Blaisch, Lee Tockar, Beast Wars, Dragon Ball, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Matt Hill, Captain N: The Game Master, Ed, Edd n’ Eddy, D. Kevin Williams, Dino Vengers, Extreme Dinosaurs, J. Michael Lee, Terry Berner, Tony Wike, Andrew Rannells, Toyetic, DIC
