If there is one thing that the three of us wish for is to see more childfree people putting themselves out there by sharing their content and creations. This is the main topic of our conversation with Hannah, the creator of Wife Without Kids.If you haven't done it yet, check out Hannah's YouTube channel here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCn8qA1xI222nVvsVakA74Vw

Childfree Girls' second Halloween Special features three very opinionated childfree people who are called to be on a panel. These characters, as fictitious as they are, can be scary to encounter when found in our real community! Three books that didn’t make the final cut but are still worth mentioning: “When My IUD Speaks”, a choose-your-own-adventure book about the effects of birth control.“The Only Childfree Book You Need” and its sequel “The Only OTHER Childfree Book You Need”

Have you ever felt that everything and everyone around you expects all people with a womb to have a baby?
Is it your impression that families, by definition, can only be two parents and at least one kid?
If you answered yes to either of these questions, you have been exposed to Pronatalism. In this episode, the Childfree Girls talk about Pronatalism, specifically about what they dislike most about it.

We talk about Daddy trolls, we discuss our childhoods, we delve into the subject of parents who push their kids to do things that they didn't get to do before having them, and the support from family members regarding our choice to be childfree, among other things. We also answered the question: is there anything that could appeal to us about parenthood? We wonder if you would agree with our answers...

Aysha* (*not her real name), is a pediatric endocrinologist who is currently facing a very important decision: go through a very expensive fertility treatment of IVF to conceive a baby even though the idea of becoming a mother doesn't really excite her, or embracing the childfree lifestyle. The Childfree Girls invited her because we were curious about her journey, and Aysha was very open and vulnerable about her thoughts and feelings. This was a truly enriching conversation about a topic that is seldom discussed. Some of the products and services we mention in this episode may no longer be active. Raise your hand if you've ever been bingoed! In Childfree terms, Bingo is both a noun and a verb. It refers to an actual Bingo card containing questions and comments we hear all the time from people who don't understand our choice. In this episode, Childfree Girls discuss the three Bingos that personally annoy us the most, a discussion that was led by asking ourselves: what do we think people really mean when they bingo us?In the end, we decided to turn the tables and created our own Childfree Bingo with the questions and comments that someone who is thinking about having a child would get told...Some of the products and services we mention in this episode may no longer be active. Dr. Kimya Dennis Ph.D. is the founder and owner of 365 Diversity, LLC. In addition to being a criminologist and sociologist, Kimya Nuru Dennis is a childfree-by-choice sociologist invested in sexual rights and freedoms and reproductive rights and freedoms.
An expert on various topics, including Childfreedom, Kimya accepted our invitation to come to our show to talk about our reproductive choice through various lenses: a broad sociological point of view; one that was focused on race; and another one that analyzed it through criminology. This conversation is rich and touches on several subjects that cross over what being childfree means. We only scratched the surface and encourage you to dig deeper into these issues. You can visit Dr. Kimya's website here: https://365diversity.com/Some of the products and services we mention in this episode may no longer be active. LeNora, Kristen and Isabel kick off the conversation by talking about how sometimes people from our community tone down their childfree happiness around parents because it could be perceived as "gloating".This topic is followed by a segment in which, after we reminisce about our days in high school, we address the youngest members of the childfree community directly.
The Childfree Girls also hope to reach those young men and women who have never even questioned the parenthood issue just to bring awareness to the fact that it is a choice. Some of the products and services we mention in this episode may no longer be active. Tom James, the author of "Your Children Are Boring: or How Modern Parents Ruin Everything", agreed to come as a guest to our show to talk about his book. We talked about how all parents think their kid is special, about losing your identity when you have a baby and about what we found out later is referred to as "sharenting" (the overuse of social media by parents to share content based on their children, such as baby pictures or details of their children's activities), among other things. We have read Tom's book and it had us crying with laughter! His approach to this serious subject is hee-larious.

On this variety show, instead of having an interview or discussing a specific subject, we decided to talk about various things, focusing our discussion from a childfree perspective. Join us as we talk about passing down things and about our legacy as non-mothers. We finish the episode with some personal recommendations on entertaining things to watch (especially now that we are spending a lot more time at home, with what's happening in the World), and hope you can leave us your recommendations as well!
