I think we all know that feeling that happens when we see others receive the very things we’ve prayed for, right? God will allow us to have a front row seat to experience others receiving blessings to let us know He is in the neighborhood and you’re up next! Are you in a waiting season? Has God promised you something and you have been waiting for a while and it seems like no progress has been made? I’ve been there. And right when I was going to give up…God showed up! Don’t give up! Just because it’s taking a little longer to get to you doesn’t mean it’s not coming. Some thing take a little longer to prepare and ship out to you. However, what’s for you has already been deemed as yours. Love y’all!

It is important to have balance in your life. Trying to do everything all at once time on your own can become exhausting. It’s truly exhausting when you’re not only trying to handle your own personal things, but also the things from other people. It’s ok to say no. Also, having a balance between doing what you want to do vs. doing what you may or may not have to do is also tricky. Listen to find out more! Love y’all!

As we wrap up this year and this season, it was only right to have someone who is all about encouragement, helping others and trusting God in many different seasons of life. I had the pleasure of chatting with Alliyah Peterson about her incredible women’s empowerment organization, “Becoming Divinely Her,” as well as trusting God in the waiting season and the important of taking care of our mental health. Don’t give up on your dreams just because the first plan didn’t work out. Sometimes you have to go to plan B. If that plan doesn’t work out, then still don’t give up. However, maybe you should step back and allow God’s plan to happen. Love y’all, enjoy! (:

Do you realize just how POWERFUL Our words are? Speak positively over your life and your circumstances. Speak kindly to other people- you never know what someone is going through. Also, be sure to not speak on things too prematurely. Not everyone is going to celebrate you in a genuine way. It’s ok to have time to enjoy things for yourself before announcing it to the public. Our bodies will tell us when things aren’t right. Like when we need food or water. It also tells us when we are stressed and need to relax. Listen to your body and be easy on yourself. I love you. Enjoy! (:

We often go through waiting periods/seasons, but what about when you’re just uncertain of how things are going to play out for you? That’s when you gotta put your faith in God into overdrive. Trust that He has a plan for your life. You’re not supposed to know all the details of the plan, just say yes. God is building up our patience and our trust in Him. It’s time to stop sleeping on yourself and your ideas. God put that uniqueness inside of you for you to do something with it. You can’t try to do things the way you see other people do it and expect the same results. Also, go into things without expectations. Just have the right intentions and be patient.
