Today's interval study is a sixth. We start with a C (red) and move up six steps to an A (indigo). What do you notice about this interval? Can you think of a song melody that features this interval?
Today we are checking out intervals. As we have said intervals are like the relationship of two frequencies. Today's frequency is a fifth. We start with C (red) root tone and add a G (sky blue) throat tone. This is generally thought to be a very harmonious pairing.
