The Big Five Project returns and, much to the delight of PC Tunney, we bring 1995 to a close with what was probably the best PPV in one of the worst years for PPVs in WWE history. Survivor Series '95 seems to be where WWE started righting the ship, so to speak. We had cruiserweights and light-heavyweights trying to steal the show in the opening match, a very unique Wild Card format for one of the other Survivor Series elimination matches, and an absolute war in the Main Event between Bret Hart and Diesel for the WWF Championship. The best match in the trilogy of battles between Big Daddy Cool and the Hitman saw the Excellence of Execution become a three-time WWF Champ and set things in motion for 1996. There are, of course, some problems with the card (it is 1995 after all), notably the Women's elimination match and the final match in WWE for Bam Bam Bigelow. But Survivor Series was a damn good PPV and an encouraging sign of things to come as the calendar would turn to 1996! In Part 4 of our recap and review of the final season of Game of Thrones, we reach the mid-point of the season and the project. Episode 3 of Season 8 saw the long-awaited showdown between the forces of darkness and light as the Night King's army of the dead launched their attack on Winterfell. This episode is filled with drama, intense battles, surprises, dragons, sacrifice, an undead dragon, heroism, despair, hope....and did we mention an undead dragon? There are so many ups, downs, and moments of nail-biting tension that you were left wondering what they could possibly do in the second half of the season? Perhaps that was part of the problem? Perhaps not. When all is said and done, Arya has slain the Night King, but at a tremendous cost for our heroes. What happens next? Tunney and DJ have suggested to Dave that things start to go off the rails from here. Will Dave agree? We will have to see where things go from here. In this latest installment of Unidentified History, the guys catch up on some recent events, including the Wall Street Journal article that has captured the attention of everyone on both sides of the UFO/UAP debate. Did the US government really test an EMP on live nuclear weapons in 1967? Was a PSYOP run against high-ranking military personnel and civilians alike? Is there a worldwide entity really controlling everything? The guys discuss that, plus more startling allegations about the Tic Tac being Lockheed Martin technology — and it came from an unlikely source. In the second half of the show, the guys do a deep dive into one of the most controversial UFO sightings of all time. Just five weeks after the first atomic bomb test at Trinity, New Mexico, a UAP crashed about 18 miles away from the test site, with NHI beings aboard. Or at least that is the story that was told by two young boys who allegedly witnessed the incident. It is a case that has been studied, analyzed, scrutinized, critiqued, and, by most accounts, deemed to be a hoax. But is that the case? The guys take a look at everything about the Trinity case- the stories of the men involved, the contradictions to their stories, the involvement of Jacques Vallee, and other factors- to give you their final conclusion as to whether the Trinity UFO case is legit...or bull sh*t. If it is legit, it is the earliest known crash (and retrieval) of a UFO in the post-war era. And even if it is a hoax, there is a lot to be learned from the case, and from the Trinity atomic bomb test in general, to warrant some serious contemplation.
