How Obedience Leads to Revival | Parker & Jesse Green
This past weekend our guest speakers, Parker and Jessi Green Pastors of Salt Church in Wilmington, NC shared with us a powerful message on revival, obedience, and the transforming love of Jesus. We dove deep into the story of Genesis, and how the redemptive power of the cross was present from the beginning! Parker challenges believers to live fully surrendered lives. Jessi shared her testimony of radical faith — from prophetic visions to leading thousands to baptism on the beaches of California — showing how one act of obedience can ignite a movement of revival! House Of His Presence | Duncan Smith
On our 17th anniversary, Duncan Smith reminded us that the heart of Catch the Fire is God’s presence with His people. From our living-room beginnings to today, we’ve been called to be a dwelling place for His love. We put worship first, listen for His voice, pray, and go on mission. Together we said “yes” again to carrying His presence into our families, city, and the nations for the next 17 years. Catch The Fire Church Raleigh
House Of Honor | Aaron Ninaber
In this episode, we introduce a new sermon series titled “This Is Us,” where we seek to reimagine what family and church culture should look like through a biblical lens. Throughout the next few weeks, our focus will shift to understanding the depth of interdependence within our community, exploring themes such as honor, worship, and service. We emphasize that the concept of family extends beyond biological relationships, highlighting our shared identity in Christ as one unified body of believers. We delve into Romans 12, which serves as a guide for how we are to relate to one another as members of the church. The apostle Paul presents foundational principles for living in love and honor. We recount his exhortation to be genuine in love, urging listeners to cultivate a sincerity that eschews hypocrisy in favor of authentic care for one another. The call to honor one another reflects the heart of God's design for community, prompting us to consider the ways we can actively support and uplift those around us. The theme of honor is explored with a focus on actively preferring one another, demonstrating the importance of service and unity in our daily interactions. We challenge ourselves to reframe our perspectives, moving from a consumer mentality to one centered on giving and contributing to the church community. By outdoing one another in good deeds and exhibiting humility in our relationships, we begin to foster an atmosphere of love and acceptance—where each person feels valued and seen. We also reflect on Jesus as the ultimate example of love and honor, reminding ourselves that our interactions should mirror His kindness towards others, especially those who are marginalized. The episode calls us to face the challenges of loving not only those within the church but also extending grace and compassion to our enemies. This radical approach to love sets us apart as a community that embodies the essence of Christ’s teachings. As we navigate the complexities of human relationships within the church, we are reminded to make time for genuine connections, treat each other like family, and practice honor, especially in conversations that occur out of earshot. Each discussion point points towards actionable steps that cultivate relationships built on trust and understanding. Lastly, we conclude with a heartfelt call to be available for God’s prompting in our lives. As busy individuals, it’s vital we carve out space to engage with one another, ensuring we leave room in our schedules for divine encounters. Through the stories shared and the encouragement given, the expectation is set for a transformative journey that fosters a deep sense of belonging and love within our church family. Join us as we embrace the challenge to live in a manner that fully embodies the unity and honor we are called to reflect as the body of Christ, allowing our relationships to flourish and our community to thrive.

When our faith is tested, His faithfulness is revealed.
