A Wong's Life. Ep. 26 : Asian American Identity Development Theory

I talk about this AAPI identity development theory which was written by Dr. Jean Kim in 1981, while studying 3rd generation (sansei) Japanese American women. I share about my own experiences in the theory stages. I also listened to Dr. Jenny Wang's interview with Dr. Jean Kim on her live instagram call, where Kim talks about her experiences. Original Source: Asian American identity development theory" in New Perspectives on racial identity development, ed. Charmaine L. Wijeyesinghe and Baily W. Jackson III (New York: New York University Press, 2001), p.67-90.
