The Lamborghini Miura
Many consider the Lamborghini Miura to be one of the most beautiful automobiles ever made. This episode uses description, instrumentals,, a film recommendation, and a brief song excerpt, to pay homage to this iconic example of automotive design and performance. I was inspired to perform brief instrumental and vocal excerpts from "Days Like These," originally perfomred by Matt Monro, and produced by Quincy Jones. The Vector Avtech WX-3
In the early 1970's, Gerald Weigert, an Arts Center graduate, founded Vector Motors. He went on to build cars that were destined to be, in his words, "fighter planes for the street." They were extremely rare, as very few were produced, but they were made with actual parts from fighter planes, and [both] looked and drove like nothing else on the road! This podcast gives a brief overview of both the company and its founder, followed by the author's personal experience with the Avtech WX-3 supercar. Come visit my site at www.carsmusicmovies.com! You can find me on Instagram, Facebook, and You Tube, under the heading "Cars, Music, and Movies." See you there!
