In the third largest PNP-specific Express Entry draw of the year, the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) invited 888 candidates to apply for permanent residence. The minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of the candidates who received invitations in the draw held on October 27 was 744. Considering the fact that all the provincial nominees receive 600 additional Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score points, the CRS requirement is not at all high. For example, if the basic CRS score of a candidate is 144, the provincial nomination would have made them eligible to receive an invitation in the latest draw.
In the Manitoba draw held on October 21, a total of 459 candidates received invitations to apply for provincial nomination. Among the invited, 388 were Skilled Workers in Manitoba candidates with a minimum score of 375. 39 Skilled Workers Overseas candidates with a minimum score of 716 also received invitations. As the PNP nominees would have received 600 additional CRS score points, the basic CRS score of the invited candidates with the lowest points would be 120. That means the CRS score requirement is not at all high, though it may appear so.
In the Ontario Express Entry French-speaking Skilled Worker(FSSW) stream draw held on October 7, a total of 162 candidates received invitations to apply for provincial nomination. The Comprehensive Ranking System(CRS) score of the invited candidates ranged between 461 and 467.
