Haggai a small book that packs a big punch! The people had returned from exile and, rather than obeying God’s call to build up God’s house, they chose the comfort of their surroundings. In this message you'll be challenged to recentre your life on God, return to Him in obedience, and rediscover the joy of His presence.
Today we finish off our study of 1 Thessalonians by looking at the benediction to the letter. Paul has a lot to say to the church, and God uses it to speak to us today.
God calls His people to honour, encourage, and live joyfully together

What kind of ministry truly pleases God? In 1 Thessalonians 2:1–12, Paul reminds believers that gospel work isn’t about power, prestige, or personal gain—it’s about faithfulness, gentleness, and pointing people to Christ. In this message, we’ll explore how Paul’s example shapes our own service today: living with integrity, sharing the gospel boldly, and caring for others like family.
Whether you serve in the spotlight or behind the scenes, this passage calls us to a ministry marked by sincerity, sacrifice, and love—the kind of ministry that honours God.

The gospel does not merely inform us—it transforms us. In Thessalonica, Paul saw the power of God’s Word at work: sinners turned from idols to serve the living and true God, and a fledgling church became an example to all believers. In this passage we see the gospel’s life-changing power (vv. 4–6), its outward testimony (vv. 7–8), and its forward-looking hope (vv. 9–10). True conversion brings a break with the old life, a witness that cannot be hidden, and a steadfast hope in Christ’s return. The gospel changes everything because it brings us into union with Christ, makes us new creations, and redirects our lives toward God’s glory.

Words are powerful. They can build up or break down, soothe or stir up. In Wise Words for Summer, we’re looking at Proverbs 15:1–4 and the call to tame the tongue. What we say—and how we say it—matters more than we think.
This Sunday, we’ll explore how God’s wisdom shapes our speech. Because when our words flow from a heart shaped by grace, they point others to Jesus.
Each week, we’ll explore how God's wisdom speaks into real areas of life—our decisions, our relationships, our words, and our legacy. Whether you’re away for a weekend or sitting in your usual seat, we hope you’ll follow along with us as we discover how true wisdom always leads us to Jesus.

The Bible is filled with promises and proverbs. But how do we tell the difference, and why does it matter?
This week in Wise Words for Summer, we’re talking about the heart. Not the emoji kind—but the real centre of who you are. Proverbs 4:20–27 reminds us to guard our hearts because everything we do flows from it. That includes what we say, how we act, and the paths we choose.
Whether you’re on the go or gathered with us in person, let God’s Word shape how you live from the inside out. Let’s keep our eyes on Jesus, the source of wisdom and life.

As we step into the rhythms of summer, we’re inviting you to slow down and seek wisdom that lasts. Starting June 29, we’ll be launching a new sermon series called Wise Words for Summer, walking through the book of Proverbs together.

Membership isn’t a finish line—it’s a starting point for spiritual growth. In our final message, we’ll explore what it means to pursue Christ together in holiness, love, and unity. Membership is a call to press on with others, fuelled by grace and pointed toward eternity.

In a world that resists authority, why would we choose to submit? Because gospel-shaped submission isn’t about power—it’s about care, protection, and trust. In this message, we unpack how church membership places us under godly leadership for our good and God’s glory.

Church is not a spectator event. It’s a body where every member matters. This week, we’ll talk about how membership invites you to take part—using your gifts, your presence, and your voice to strengthen the whole. You were made to participate, not just observe it.
Is church just a place you go—or is it a people you belong to? In this message, we look at why belonging to a local church matters more than we realise. Discover how the gospel reshapes our need for connection and why membership is the difference between attending and being known.
