Our life can carry us away when we aren't looking. The mindfulness we get from practicing meditation can very easily point us back in the direction of the present moment that we can loose sight of so easily. The breath is our compass. In and out. In and out. One breath at a time.
In the day to day grind of our life, it is very easy to loose sight of things we are grateful for. The truth is that no matter how bad things are, no matter the struggle, there is still room for gratitude. Through gratitude comes joy and joy is the path to being in love with our life. One breath at a time.
When we sit down to meditate, we are trying to get to a place of stillness, calm, and silence to easier place ourselves in the present moment. In the present moment, we gain clarity and balance and one way into that place of calm is silence. This meditation hopes to assist the meditator to get to that place. Listen to the silence. One breath at a time.
So often, in our lives, we get bogged down in the negative thinking so much that we can convince ourselves that nothing good will ever happen, the the only thing possible is disappointment. This is because over time we have convinced ourselves to only believe in the negative. But there is another side of possibility and in there lies all the hope and good we can see in our live. The only thing that changes is what we choose to believe in. This meditation hopes to help the meditator shift their focus into the possibility of good.
In between stimulus and response, there is a space. There is a space to be found in between our thoughts. There is a space between inhale and exhale. We call this place The Gap. The gap is where we feel present and aware. Not thinking, not worrying, just absorbing and observing, just living in that space of pure conscious awareness. This meditation aims to help the meditator find their way into that space through practice of breath.
So many times we find ourselves getting stuck in negative and unproductive thought patterns. If we aren't careful or mindful of this, we could easily sink further and further into despair. Meditation can help us reset our minds and recalibrate our day just by taking a few moments to ourselves to watch our breath. One breath at a time.
As we go through our daily life we have things happen to us and it can be hard to remember that the things that happen to us do not have to define us. What matters most is not what happens to us but how we respond to what happens to us. This meditation aims to help the meditator return to balance. One breath at a time.
When we meditate, over time, we learn to observe our thoughts and not to get swept away by them. This meditation hopes to help the meditator re-center, re-balance into the present moment through breath.
When we talk about meditation, very often we say things like "awareness" or "consciousness" and we can very easily brush past what any of those things mean or feel like. This meditation hopes to help the meditator become more familiar with our true self, the part of us deep down inside that is just witnessing and observing our thoughts and feelings through out our day through active listening.
The saying goes "Expectation leads to disappointment, which leads to suffering". Yes but how do we deal with those feelings? How do we push past those complicated emotions because it is hard to go through life without becoming attached to the things we care about most? Breath, my friend. It is through the breath. One breath at a time.
When we find time to relax, we also find a deeper way into the present moment. This meditation hopes to help you get to a relaxed state where there is not time, place, or thing, just pure consciousness and pure awareness observing through breath. One breath at a time.
Stress, anxiety, worry, frustration, rage are all lower energy vibrations bringing us down all the time. If we are not careful, we can easily get swept away by those things, all while struggling to rise above them. Through meditation and mindfulness, we can remind ourselves not to dwell on those unproductive thoughts, feelings, and emotions to raise our vibrations with things like gratitude, joy, abundance. One breath at a time.
Sometimes life gets so hectic and we are pulled in so many directions at all times that it is easy to becaome detached from the reality, the purity of the present moment. It's easy to feel uprooted. This meditation hopes to help ground while repeated the mantra "I AM" to remind us that we are real. We are here and we are now. One breath at a time.
Each day is so full of putting fires out and dealing with problems that arise that it is very hard to remember to take some time to relax and clear our minds so we can go through the rest of the day with some balance, perspective, and clarity. Meditation can help us with one of the most important things we could do for ourselves, remember to take a rest between two deep breaths. One breath at a time.
Every single day, every single moment, our minds are spinning. We may not notice it all the time because we're busy being distracted by the every day chaos of life. But as soon as we sit down to meditate, to find some quiet stillness, there it is; our mind buzzing with thoughts. This may make us feel like we cannot meditate but the trick is to begin to find the space between the thought. It's called the gap and it, like our thoughts, is always there as well. Meditation can help us to recognize this gap and slip into it and over time we can learn to expand this gap. One breath at a time.
We hold on to so many things in our life. Childhood trauma, embarassments, failures, disappointments all take up so much space that we leave little room for the successes, gratitude, hope, possibility. This meditation hopes to help the meditator remember that life is a process of letting go. One breath at a time.
Amid the chaos of our every day life, we go through struggles and suffering. Many times the flames of our suffering is being fanned by our ego that is constantly churning and working in the background at all times. Everything we have gone through in our previous life. Childhood traumas, ups and downs, failures, successes, they all add up. Our ego is constantly calculating. This meditation hopes help the meditator put some distance between you and your ego to gain some persepctive and some peace back into your day. One breath at a time.
We can get so overwhelmed with stress, chaos, and worry that it is very easy to loose sight of the good in our life, the things that, when we stop to think about it, we are obviously grateful for. This meditation aims to remind the meditator to stop and think about the abundance in our life and to develop the mindfulness to do so when we are stressing out in our day to day life. One breath at a time.

We very often get sucked into a desire for perfection, which is ultimately impossible and because of that, it only leads to disappointment and failure. Instead, seeking excelllence is a life-long journey towards constant improvement and has little built in successes along the way. Even in the pursuit of excellence and failure can actually be a success because we give ourselves permission to constantly improve over time. One breath at a time.
