Mississippi's medical marijuana advertising ban upheld! 🏛️ In a win for federal supremacy, the court sided against Tru Source Medical Cannabis, LLC, citing that despite state-level legality, marijuana remains federally illegal. This means advertising, as "commercial speech," doesn't get First Amendment protection if the underlying activity is unlawful under federal law. A fascinating look at the limits of state vs. federal power and commercial speech rights!
Courts are pushing back on federal overreach in the No Surprises Act! This is a win for common-sense regulation and ensuring fairness in healthcare. Government shouldn't tip the scales, allowing free markets & transparency to work for patients and providers.
