This week is a juicy one! We finally get around to talking all things OnlyFans after the partnership announcement back in October.
The why, the why not, and lifting the lid on our reactions to the response we've had. THANK YOU all so much for your support, we both massive appreciate it and believe us when we say this partnership has changed our lives...
Plus a few thoughts on this weekends 70.3 Worlds - it's gunna be spicy!
If you want to see what all the fuss is about - https://onlyfans.com/stephclutterbuck
Okay okay we're a few weeks late BUT holiday, jet lag, we've only just unpacked and we managed to leave our leads in Hawai'i...
Tune in to hear all of Steph's thoughts from race day!
As we build into race day here more about our thoughts!
We have made it to KONA! After what has been a crazy year, this really has felt like a homecoming.
A quick run through of our Texas camp leads to the travel CHAOS to get over to Hawai'i... but the world was put to rights again when we got off the plane.
Some learnings, reflections and gratitude for the journey that has brought us here so far.
We really couldn't go a podcast without talking through OUR take on what's gunna happen this weekend in Nice... we run through the course, some very very wooly predictions and how we think it could play out this year!
No drama, just some unfiltered excitement for the first championship race of the season...
WOW. What a weekend. Steph breaks down her first race in 4 months at Zell am See 70.3, talking you through plan vs execution and eventually getting onto some of the nutrition and sodium stats too...
We were both completely blown away by the support out on course so THANK YOU, from the bottom of our hearts. It's been a really tough few months but it feels good to be back on track and gearing up for championships season!
We're back with our first RACE WEEK episode in 4 months... What a rollercoaster it has been to get here, but we talk you through the race, the prep, the expectations and everything else in between!
Thank you all so much for sticking by us as we've navigated Steph's medical question marks since May/June. We really appreciate it and HOPEFULLY this marks a step forward to a new normal...
Well well well, it was all going a bit tooooooo smoothly... Steph crashed on her bike which has provided us with plenty of "entertainment" in the last week on camp (because she is fine...). We talk about the crash, recovery AND the rest of normal camp things!
Coming to you from halfway up a mountain, this week we talk all things PoTS and how Steph's training has been shaken up, as well as reflections on a first week (ever!!!) at altitude!
We're hoping our lack of organisation is now at an end and we will be back with you weekly...
An update episode all round today! 2 weeks on from sharing the diagnosis and we talk through EVERYTHING we've learned over the last few weeks, turbo-charged as Steph is back "on programme" and building to Kona (albeit slowly - think tortoise, not hare).
Featuring stories from Swansea, concerns about carrying melted flapjacks in jersey pockets and a VERY personal Watt The Buck!
This week is a BIG week as we talk you through the recent diagnosis Steph has had. It's good news but it does get a little raw in places as we work through what it could mean and how life might need to look a little different. We aren't going anywhere however; the triathlon dream lives on!
How do we find ourselves in the troughs of motivation, and why might peaks not be what we're looking for? This week we explore the highs and lows of motivation, why they happen and what we can do about it. Steph also chats about mindfulness and it's central role in unlocking GREAT decision making when the pressure it on.
Send us your Watt the Buck moments so we can give some more shout outs; we love to hear them!
Getting better at triathlon, life and walking up stairs without all the training stress?! Sign us up! Steph talks through a development in her recovery that has absolutely BLOWN her mind and resulted in the best two swims she's had in years...
Steph and Matt also dive into 5 race week tips to keep stress levels looowww and the focus firmly ON race day and none of the logistics before!
Some BIG updates this week after a week of testing (and testing Steph's patience hahah). We aren't completely there yet but we update you with what we DO know, and how important it is to advocate for yourself when you know something is wrong...
ps send us your Watt the Buck's - yours and people you know - we want to hear about you doing cool things out there!
Welcome back to the pod! CLEARLY Ironman Hamburg didn't go to plan over the weekend and Steph gives a quick update as to what's going on before diving into what was a really incredible day of racing!
We give a bit of an insight into our decision making for what the rest of the season is going to look like (pending the next week or so), before calling out some other outrageous performances from the weekend...
We're a bit late and it's because Matt prioritised beers over podcast (and definitely not because it was a travel day and we were both tired...).
But here it is! Our Ironman Hamburg race week podcast, running you through the startlist, course and Steph's approach for rrrrrrrace day.
Steph and Matt are BACK after a week's hiatus and answer all of your questions. Everything from the mindset of a professional triathlete, to breathing exercises for swimming; how to balance life and training, to how to pace a hilly run.
Tune in NOW to hear our thoughts!
*for the World Championships, both men and women, on the same day.
We dissect this and talk through what is exciting but also our concerns for the health of the sport if the return isn't managed appropriately!
Plus some return to training bits and we look at what's next in Steph's race calendar...
Howdy!
Steph and Matt are back home, jet-lagged and ready to talk you through Ironman Texas race day... It was a record breaking day on all fronts, and the Watt the Buck moment is certainly well deserved this week!
Tune in to hear about how the race went down, Steph's goals going into the race, how close she came to hitting them and how her execution was COMPLETELY different to how she normally races (and why...)
This week we are joined by Jana Richtrova- 4 time Ironman AG World Champ, 23 time full distance finisher (we think, we kept losing count) and Ironman Kona AG bike course record holder.
We hear about her journey to becoming world champ, as well as get all the tips we can for racing in hot and humid conditions - something she has managed to master over the years!
