We will be back next week with a brand new episode but this week we wanted to share with you our extended interview with Akron Watson. His movie Ms. Juneteenth is out on BET now. Akron Watson is a Dallas native and an actor/singer who hasstarredonBroadway, television, film, and voice-overs. He won a Tony, Grammy, and Emmy's a cast member of the Color PurpleRevival on Broadway. He played Trevor in the Tony-winning “The PlayThat Goes Wrong” on Broadway, and he most recently starred as Aaron Burr in Hamilton an American Musical. He is a series regular Erick Houston on Fox’s“Empire”.He can also be seen on TV as Trevor in NBC’sChicago Med. Akron’s film credits include the 2020 recently release “Miss Juneteenth”, as well as ‘Spilt Milk” and “Seasons of Gray”. He is the voice of anime characters like Satoshi on Toonami's Michiko, and Hatchinand Wiley on Jourmungand. He also voices Chris in TheWalkingDeadVideoGame, and he plays himself in the video game borderlands, the Presequelon Playstation, and Xbox. He was a golden ticket winner on American Idol, Season 7.
