An anime award show of celebration. Starting with the illustrious career of first-ballot anime hall of famer Ash Ketchum and Pikachu, the Brokage hosts then talk about the last year of anime, who won the Crunchyroll awards and who really should have won the Anime Awards. Join George as he is finally able to get sleepy Luke on the pod once again as he has been neglecting his duties as an anime watchers.
Note that the delay was 100% Luke's fault and 0% George's fault. No fibs!
We are back with another episode, but who will be our gold medalist this week? Did you even remember we had a podium? Kinda weird to have a podium with only three contestants. We aren't athletes ok?? Well Luke kinda is... Shoot I've really lost the thread. Listen to the episode for a slightly more coherent half hour!
In a fall slate loaded with legendary shows and promising new ones, George and Luke bring you a new anime show going through three of the most exciting. Every week they will recap and react to Bleach, Chainsaw Man and Mob Psycho, but there's a twist. The order will be based on the shows we enjoyed the most. So as the autumn hits us with that 2d anime goodness, join us for our second "hit" show. We'll see you there. Are you still reading this?? Good lord just start the show already. Stop reading you nerd. This isn't a book... ...they are called Goatkages, even if Luke will never accept it.

A Silent Voice is a fantastic movie that I also wish would describe my cohost Luke. But he's loud and abrasive and there is nothing I can do about it. Stop by and listen to him use that abrasive voice to make a couple, MAYBE a few good points about the movie but mostly lie about who said it first. It was me. I saw it first. So take that LUKE!
We are rich! Money has changed us. I don't even feel the need to type a good podcast description! Which they were so good before!!!
...Also hear us talk about Mob Psycho and One Punch Man I guess? I don't know it's just another episode of George dissecting Luke verbally like he was one of those frogs in biology class. You know, because Luke is the dead frog being taken apart? It's called comedy, maybe google it.
Who is your favorite anime sensei?? I've always thought of Luke as my podcasting pupil, so it seems timely we got to this. Join us as I once again lead Luke by the hand (he gets lost easily) through another podcast but this time not only discussing two Classroom shows BUT ALSO ranking our top 5 teachers/mentors/etcs in anime.
Everyone talks about the Big 3 and the best New Gen anime, but people often forget about the golden era of the mid-gen. Shows like Hunter x Hunter, Death Note and Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood are goated, but what are our favorites? Join George and Luke as they debate what shows belong in the Top 5 and even bicker about what qualifies.
Oh boy do we have thoughts about Rising of Shield Hero. How strong are our thoughts? Well, consider this: the Brokages have been resurrected on pure hatred.
And yes - you're the baby. Goo goo ga ga said you. If we were the baby we'd be the ones saying goo goo ga ga. I don't make the rules I just recite them. Does anyone actually read this? One day we'll find out.
Well we finally got around to seeing JJK0 and we have thoughts! Join George and Luke as they discuss why it was fun, where it fell short, and how it raised so many questions it belongs in Gojo's Limitless.
Does new-gen shonen stalwart Jujutsu Kaisen live up to the hype? Do you need to watch season 1 to understand the JJK movie? We answer all of these questions and more in our latest podcast. Find out why we love the show, what it reminds us of, and what makes puts it on the pantheon of new gen anime.
Everyone knows the classics like Naruto, Demon Slayer and Your Lie In April. But what about new stuff? Well we have sifted through the mess to give you some bonafide bangers. Or at least, things you might enjoy? If you want to try something new, or were wondering what the deal was with all those award nominated shows, this is the podcast for you!
A review of our 2022 anime of the year. Certainly no flat tires on this ride... Get it?? Yikes not our best... But fortunately for you we saved our best for the actual recording so come on in and take a seat as we... take your ears... to their final destination? Oh man, this just keeps getting worse...
Who were the best characters in anime last year? What shows should you spend your time binging?
Okay we may be a little bit late... So you saw that Crunchyroll put out their anime award winners. But don't listen to them, what do they know???Instead listen to our *right* answers.

AOT episode 80 recap (season 4 part 2 episode 5, or season 4 episode 21). The best day of anime ever(?) Sunday continues with George and Luke breaking down the story of Ymir, arguing about whether Eren is crazy and what's in store for next week. Join in on the fun!
Chattin' about Demon Slayer Entertainment Arc Episode 10. Join us as we gush about the animation, pick who would win between Tengen and Rengoku for the 3rd time, pick who the most evil demon has been so far, and more. Plus this is the episode that Luke admits George was right, so this needs to be minted in history.
We finish off episode 4 of Titan Slayers with some heavy conversations such as "where did George go wrong" and "how is George going to cope with Tengen's lost arm?" You know... the important stuff!
