Bhastrika also known as "bellows breath" is a traditional pranayama breathwork practice that increases the prana, or life force energy in the body, a true wake up practice. Just like an energetic cup of coffee this breathwork exercise will wake you up the next time you're feeling sluggish, cloudy in the mind, are in need of a confidence boost, or even preparing for a workout.
