How do we bring back morals, values, and ass whoopings? It starts in the home with parenting that holds children accoutable and ensures they know respect. Many times we expect teachers, community leaders, and mentors to instill discipline and stucture, but as a parent, we must take the reigns. In the past we discussed parents, discipline your children before someone else does and now we go a step further and discuss the problems in society that makes it more difficult to raise and discipline our kids. The boyz sit down with our wives to discuss marriage, relationships, and get the female perspective in how to navigate life and love. This was a great and candid conversation and the wives were also very quick to point out some of the boyz struggles. The boyz dive into the upcoming NBA season (after a week in) and discuss who could get traded, the standings, who will play in the NBA championship, rookie of the year hype, and MVP. We will revisit our choices at the end of the season and with a few suprises.

School can be stressful and cause anxiety for all stakeholders from parents and students to teachers. Parents must engage with their schools regardless of their past experiences to ensure students are taken care of and teachers have the tools to deliver what the children need. It is not a waste of time and parents must understand, the importance of education and engagement with success.

Parents, make sure you discipline your children at home first before the world disciplines them. The world will discipline your children and that discipline may far exceed what you can teach your children. Many times, we hear the word discipline and think corporal punishment. Yet, discipline simply means to teach. Instill discipline in your child and the world will be less frustrating to navigate. The boyz discuss.

The Boyz and my nephew Lil Jon preview the NFL season, discuss the stories, and pick the winners for each division, the conference, and the Super Bowl. Coach Barry tries to not hype up the NY Jets, I try to stay as neutral as possible in the NFC East (Go Birds), and my nephew tries to no pick the Patriots to win the AFC east.
