They’ve been gettingd into all kinds of games—Star Wars Outlaws on Switch 2 impressed with its Uncharted- and Assassin’s Creed-style gameplay, Wavetale charmed with Wind Waker-inspired exploration and puzzles, and Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater had them sweating through stealth and tough boss fights. They also shared first impressions of games like Hollow Knight: Silksong, Chronos: New Dawn, and Borderlands 4.
The crew wrapped up their draft, checking scores and making their final picks for 2025. There were some safe bets and some bold moves, so it’ll be fun to see who comes out on top in a few months.

Corey Dirrig, LeRon Dawkins, Stephanie Klimov and Patrick Klein dive into how Nintendo has continued to reinvent its iconic characters over the past decade.
From Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom to the Link’s Awakening remake, the Zelda series has evolved dramatically—embracing open-world exploration, puzzle-solving, crafting, and survival in ways that reshaped how we experience the franchise.
Nintendo is taking a similar approach with Donkey Kong Bananza, reimagining the character in a dynamic sandbox that showcases not only Donkey Kong’s raw power and destructive abilities but also the capabilities of the Nintendo Switch 2.

This week on a special Boss Rush Network presentation:
Corey Dirrig and Patrick Klein sit down with a panel of great content creators to talk about one of the year's biggest surprises: Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, developed by Sandfall Interactive and published by Kepler Interactive. Joining them are indie game content creator and Playlog Podcast host CGDannyB, variety streamer Professor Stalke, and former Boss Rush Network member and current Hair of the Dogcast host Stoy Jovic.
They kick things off with about 20 minutes of spoiler-free discussion, covering the game’s core mechanics, general plot setup, first impressions of the characters, and how each of them approached their playthrough.
Then it’s time for deep spoilers—everything from major story moments and character arcs to plot twists, choices, and how the different endings landed for each of them. They also get into how the game’s story and soundtrack came together so effectively, and why this small, passionate team reminded them why they love games in the first place.
