Hello, bookworms! I'm alive and well and here to bring you such an interesting thriller. This sparked my interest in finally reading the Dexter series since I've been saying I would, but not actually doing it, and I am so excited about the line up of thrillers I have for you all! As usual, this is also a video episode on my Youtube channel (linked on the website) and I mentioned my Amazon wishlist. I am linking my wishlist in case anyone wants to help me with some classroom stuff, but you absolutely do not have to. My kids will thank you and so will I, but I know money is tight for everyone. This episode is quite different because I lost someone who was extremely important to me and to my community. Sandy Staggs was the founder and Artistic Director of Proud Mary Theatre Company in Spartanburg, SC, South Carolina's first and only LGBTQIA+ theatre. He found me right after I graduated college and I began working with him as stage manager. This show, Five Lesbians Eating a Quiche, I am stage managing and assistant directing. Our show will close this weekend, but we are still performing for Sandy. He would have wanted us all to go on. The future is uncertain, but Sandy's love for theatre, the arts, and the LGBTQIA+ theatre were not. This thriller is one that kept me reading because I had no idea what would happen next. As a person that guesses mystery or thriller plots easily, I was SHOCKED at the ending. If you listen or read the blog post and partake in spoilers, I would still say read this book! It's worth it.

This book was one that I couldn't put down. I had to stay up until 6 am to finish this and have all secrets revealed! Evelyn and the cast of characters in this book will make you forget this is a work of fiction. Love, 7 husbands, and a great secret seem to make a perfect match for one hell of a life story.
