Bohag bihu is the main fastival of Assam. Bohag bihu is also known as Rangali bihu. There ase different types of plants which are use in bohag bihu.

Orchids,the most beautiful flower creatios of God comprised a unique group of monocotyledonus plant belonging to the family orchidaceae. The term 'orchid' was drived from Greek word "orchis" meaning testical like and was first coined by Theophrastus (370-285 BC). There are about 22,000 species which are distributed all over the world.In Assam Acampe papilosa, papilionanthe teres, Rhynchostylis retusa are used for treating rheumatism, tuberculosis, diabetes, otorrhoea respectively.
