After over a year on Tinder, Hinge, and Bumble trying the different features, going on dates, and learning how to put my foot down, it is finally time to consider this round of dating app research complete. These are my takeaways. Oh and a cautionary tale about checking the boxes of what you want in a partner rather than seeing the red flags for what they are...and a reminder that putting your foot down takes practice.
Next up, Melissa and I dig into lesser-known apps... Farmers Only, anyone?

Can AP & Chase figure out where this “Jerri Poppins” (Big Time Fresh’s Bella Mars) came from and how they ended up at the studio door? Why does she keep talking about collecting children? Is she from the UK, Australia, America? Seriously, please tell us if you find out. Ep 158 Listener Call-In

JP and Roberta are back after an eventful football season! The success of the Kansas City Chiefs and their potential as a dominant team in the future leads to a discussion about Tom Brady's retirement and his decision to come back and win another Super Bowl. From there, you know we must do a deep dive into the Taylor Swift effect on family dynamics, role models, inspiration, and personal growth. Taylor and Travis Kelce's very public relationship will be under immense pressure to be positive role models in how to handle negativity and criticism, boundaries, toxic masculinity, supportive relationships, public scrutiny, and judgment, and counter that with being the example of relationships full of appreciation and support, the importance of simple gestures, and the impact of toxic and fragile masculinity.
