Duke dropped an important ACC game against #12 Georgia Tech this past Saturday by shooting themselves in the foot just like their two other losses this season. Ill-advised turnover, crucial penalties and special teams mistakes have been the key factor in Duke losses this season and it continued against GT.

Duke's offense continues to light up the scoreboard and the defense found their grove in the 2Q and pitched a 2nd half shut out thanks to freshmen stepping up in big roles.
Duke dominated Syracuse 38-3. The game was never in question as Duke's defense got off the field on 3rd downs and forced turnovers as Duke's offense ran all over Syracuse. Can Duke continue their hot momentum as they get ready to travel cross country and face a team that is overachieving 5 games into the season?
Duke bounced back from a 20-7 deficit to beat NC State 45-33 thanks to 3 passing TD's and 3 rushing TD's. Shout out to the Special Teams on a much needed bounce back day. Duke's defense continues to struggle as they missed 23 tackles and gave up 7-12 3rd down conversions. Can Duke fix their defense as they get ready to play at Syracuse who just upset Clemson on the road?
Duke lost to Tulane 34-27 but the score doesn't indicate the game as Tulane was in control from the beginning of the game. Darian Mensah's replacement, Jake Retzlaff had a career game with over 350 total yards and 4 rushing TD's. Where does Duke go from here?
Duke lost 45-19 to Illinois even though they out gained Illinois 438 to 419. Duke's 5 turnovers were the story of the game and will need to be cleaned up if they want to beat Tulane as Darian Mensah faces his old team. Darian Mensah looked as good as advertised in Duke's 45-17 win against Elon. Mensah was 27-34 for 389yds and 3 TD's in his Duke debut.
