We've probably all heard it recently mentioned on the news, but what’s the real story behind Trump’s love of tariffs, and what’s he proposing this time around? In this episode, we break down the history of the U.S.-China trade war, how tariffs have impacted American consumers and businesses, and why Biden has kept many of Trump’s policies in place—collecting billions in taxes along the way. We also dive into Trump’s bold ideas, like introducing universal tariffs, examine the challenges of re-shoring, and the future of global trade. Finally, we look at the effects of these policies on financial markets (you are all future investors, after all!)

What makes a stock worth its price? In this episode of Big "F" Finance, we peel back the layers of stock valuation—exploring what drives prices, how investors think about fair value, and why the market doesn’t always match reality.
Note that this episode is absolutely packed-to-the-brim with information. Please don't let that be overwhelming! Feel free to pause, replay, and rewind if you need to cover a concept again! Even though I know many of you are new to financial markets, this info is truly very useful and I didn't want to withhold it (and if you can understand everything in this episode, where I am really throwing you in the deep-end, you will be operating at a similar level to many new analysts).
Moreover, you are MORE than welcome to use this episode as a reference, and I would encourage you to listen through (just to get the ideas in your head), and then come back to any given relevant section when it is of use to you.

Hello and welcome to the first trailer episode of Big "F" Finance! In this short and sharp episode I go over the main goals for the podcast, a little bit about myself, and what is to come!
I'm super excited to have the opportunity to share what I know with you all, and given that I got a microphone for Christmas (which definitely won't be used for music recording), I figured it was the perfect time to follow through on my long-held dream of having a podcast. My ability to audio-engineer said podcast will hopefully improve with time!
All of our episodes will be somewhere in the 20-30 minute range, and we'll kick off with a few explainers on market basics (what is a market? what is a stock? how do bonds work?) before diving into more nitty gritty topics.
