Matthew Halsted is the author of Paul and the Meaning of Scripture: A Philosophical-Hermeneutic Approach to Paul’s Use of the Old Testament in Romans. This book takes a look at the (often creative) ways St. Paul interpreted Old Testament texts by drawing on the insights of German philosopher Hans-Georg Gadamer. His latest is a popular-level book that challenges some commonly-held American evangelical ideas about eschatology. It’s called The End of the World as You Know It: What the Bible Really Says about the End Times (And Why It’s Good News). He's currently in the throes of other writing projects—the details of which he is excited to share sometime in 2026.
His educational background includes degrees in international studies and philosophy, as well as a PhD in philosophical hermeneutics/biblical studies (London School of Theology/Middlesex University). He had the privilege of working at Eternity Bible College, where he get to teach amazing students alongside fantastic colleagues. He is also an Anglican priest.

George Grant has started a lot of things and somehow or another he has even managed to finish a few of them. Currently, he is the
Pastor Emeritus of Parish Presbyterian Church in Franklin, Tennessee, where he also serves as the director of the King’s Meadow
Study Center, the coordinator of the Chalmers Scholarship Fund, professor of apologetics and church history at Birmingham
Theological Seminary and New Geneva International Seminary, and chancellor of both Franklin Classical School and
Bannockburn College. He has planted four churches, established a fistful of schools and co-ops along with two colleges,
accumulated a bottom drawer full of academic degrees, and is the author of enough out-of-print books to keep half the garage
sales in the South fully stocked. But, by his own testimony, his greatest accomplishment is his ongoing role as husband of one,
father of four, and grandfather of nine (and counting). His books, innumerable podcasts, a variety curriculum packages, and a host of other resources are available at

named Christianity Today Theology Books of the Year (2006, 2015, 2017, 2024).
In 1999 he was featured on the cover of Christianity Today, and in 2015 was the subject of a

spiritual formation.
