Have you ever felt like it would be easier if Jesus were right there next to you? Well, Jesus Himself said we have something better—the Holy Spirit. And having the Holy Spirit is better than having Jesus here in His physical body (John 16:7).In this teaching, 10 Reasons It's Better to Have the Holy Spirit, Andrew guides you step by step into a better understanding of the ministry of the Holy Spirit, enabling you to place a value on that ministry in agreement with what the Bible teaches and to see significant growth in your walk with the Lord. From this teaching, you'll discover:
• Jesus lives in all born-again believers by the Holy Spirit.• When you were born again, mankind’s sinful nature was taken out of you and replaced with God's nature.• The indwelling Spirit should be like a river flowing out of us.• The Holy Spirit will lead us into all truth.
The disciples connected with Jesus through their senses more than their spirit. We need to avoid that mistake. If you want to experience more joy, peace, and connection with God, don’t try to approach Him through your flesh.
Instead, approach Him in spirit and in truth. Andrew addresses this pitfall in Are You Satisfied with Jesus? The Bible says that you can’t know God through the natural man (1 Cor. 2:14).
We have to go beyond our feelings and emotions and seek Him in the spirit. This is the key to living victoriously whatever your circumstances may be.
In Andrew’s teaching, The Old Man Is Dead: Goodbye and Good Riddance!, you’ll discover that God no longer looks at you and sees a sinner; He only sees the new nature that Jesus provided by grace at the cross. In this teaching, learn how to ditch your sin nature and embrace your new nature in Christ.

Religion would rather perform theological gymnastics, claim God doesn’t heal anymore, proclaim the gift of healing has ceased using all kinds of isolated, obscure verses, and preach them out of context to satisfy their flesh that is the experience in lack of seeing healing in their personal lives.
When they preach “Healing is not God’s will for everyone” they are making their flesh as the Gospel. There are 41 verses in the bible where Jesus healed someone and not ONE verse where Jesus sent away someone without healing.
If you are sick, you have nothing to do but accept the healing already provided for you 2000 years ago on the cross. In this sermon, I hope to fan to flame your faith in Christ Jesus who has already provided healing as a gift for you.

A theme that anybody who reads the book of Proverbs through will see come up again and again is the subject of work. It talks positively about work under the heading of “diligence.” It talks negatively about work under the heading of “sluggard” or “the sluggardliness.” We live in a city where there’s probably more pressure on work—fewer boundaries to it, and less stability in it—than anywhere I know.
The book of Proverbs tells us if you want to have a fulfilled human life, you have to do four things with your work. If you want to have a fulfilled human life, you have to do your work, love your work, re-narrate your work, and redeem your work.

The Lie: God Forgives You, Little by Little, Each Time You Sin - Andrew Farley
As soon you hear the word generosity, you say, “Oh, a series on money.” No, not necessarily. It is possible to be technically generous with your money and not at all generous in your spirit or in your heart. There are plenty of people who are actually quite generous with their money, generous with their time. They volunteer their time. They help. They’re charitable, yet they’re not relationally generous at all.
There’s a specific form of relational generosity we want to talk about because it’s something that must characterize all Christian believers. And that is forgiveness. Forgiveness? Yes, because there are people out there who relationally owe you. They owe you because of how they’ve treated you. They owe you.
Matthew 18 and Luke 17 are parallel passages in many ways, and they are masterful passages that talk a lot about what it means to forgive. Let’s notice what it teaches us here about the enormity of forgiveness and then the practice of it (exactly how you do it), and then the key to forgiveness (the only way you will actually ever do it). There’s the enormity of it, the practice of it, and the key to it.
This sermon was preached by Rev. Timothy Keller at Redeemer Presbyterian Church on October 7, 2012. Series "Generosity: Studies from the Gospel of Luke". Scripture: Luke 17:3-10.
