Hello and welcome to a new episode about books😍 I can‘t believe my Internship in Hong Kong is already coming to an end! In today’s episode, I’m reminiscing about these past 6 months and tell you all about the cafés and restaurants I became a regular at. I now realised they are mostly expat-style cafés and sweet treat shops, but I promise they are delicious and soo friendly🥰

Hello and welcome back to the podcast <3
Here is the list of all the wonderful books which my fellow delegates recommended:
1. Singapore: "H2 Mathematics" by Shinglee Publishers
2. Nigeria: "Things Fall Apart" by Chinua Achebe and "We should all be Feminists" by Chimamanda Ngozie Adichie
3. Brunei: "When I Was a Kid" by Cheeming Boey (*I now realised this is actually a Malaysian author describing the realities in Malaysia - however, this shows the close cultural ties between Malaysia and Brunei)
4. Pakistan: "The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck" by Mark Manson (JA MAMA DAS IST DER TITEL DES BUCHES) and "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" by Robert Kiyosaki & Sharon L. Lechter
5. Italy: "The Day of the Judgement" by Salvatore Satta (*the small town is called Nuomo)
6. Guinea: "L'Enfant Noir" by Laye Camara
7. Germany: "That Girl" by Gabriella Santos de Lima and also all her other books like her "Jetzt"-series!!!
That is it for today, all the best and hear you in the next one <33

Helloouu beautiful people! Today, we are talking about how to keep a journalling routine while travelling. "Drawing from close to two decades on experience" aka keeping a journal since kindergarden, I am very happy to hopefully inspire you to one day reminisce with your grandchildren and your finished and beautiful travel journals ;)

Have you ever wondered, how glamourous your life could be if Carry Bradshaw or Elizabeth Gilbert were the authors of it? I asked AI to help me write a story about my first weekend in Hong Kong and it added exactly the amount of glamour and fabulousness that this episode was missing! Enjoy my adventures on a dragonboat, journalling by the harbour and working at the expat café "Elephant Grove" in a true 2000s fashion ;)
And as always, if you have a message I am excited to receive your email: grace.journals@outlook.com <3

Hello girlypops,
If you are anything like me then you will have wanted to go on a solodate at the cinema at some point in your life - and probably have felt scared doing so! In this episode, I share some tips that helped me to be brave and spend some awesome time at the cinema. From my first time going out to the cinema alone in Singapore, to an awkward post-valentines day solodate in Switzerland all the way to watching a movie by myself in Chinese (and admittedly barely understanding it lol)!
Have fun with the episode and as always tell me about your adventures via email: grace.journals@outlook.com <33
