Welcoming God
Welcoming God Psalm 139:1-18, 23-24 O Lord, you have examined my heart and know everything about me. You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my thoughts even when I'm far away. You see me when I travel and when I rest at home. You know everything I do. You know what I am going to say even before I say it, Lord. You go before me and follow me. You place your hand of blessing on my head. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me to understand! I can never escape from your Spirit! I can never get away from your presence! If I go up to heaven, you are there; if I go down to the grave, you are there. If I ride the wings of the morning, if I dwell by the farthest oceans, even there your hand will guide me, and your strength will support me. I could ask the darkenss to hide me and the light around me to become night-but even in darkness I cannot hide from you. To you the night shines as bright as day. Darkenss and light are the same to you. You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother's womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous-how well I know it. You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born. Everyday of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! I can't even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up, you are still with me! Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life. Search For God Psalms 139:23 Psalms 51:10-12 Point Out The Offenses Psalms 139:24 Psalms 51:1-3 Lead Me Psalms 139:24 Matthew 6:13 Psalms 23:1-3 Psalms 23:6

Let Us Bring Thanks
Let Us Bring Thanks 1 Chronicles 16:7-12, 23-34 On that day David gave to Asaph and his fellow Levites this song of thanksgiving to the Lord: Give thanks to the Lord and proclaim his greatness. Let the whole world know what he has done. Sing to him; yes, sing his praises. Tell everyone about his wonderful deeds. Exult in his holy name; rejoice, you who worship the Lord. Search for the Lord and for his strength; continually seek him. Remember the wonders he has performed, his miracles, and the rulings he has given, Let the whole earth sing to the Lord! Each day proclaim the good news that he saves. Publish his glorious deeds among the nations. Tell everyone about the amazing things he does. Great is the Lord! He is most worthy of praise! He is to be feared above all gods. The gods of other nations are mere idols, but the Lord made the heavens! Honor and majesty surround him; strength and joy fill his dwelling. O nations of the world, recognize the Lord, recognize that the Lord is glorious and strong. Give to the Lord the glory he deserves! Bring your offering and come into his presence. Worship the Lord in all his holy splendor. Let all the earth tremble before him. The world stands firm and cannot be shaken. Let the heavens be glad, and the earth rejoice! Tell all the nations, The Lord reigns! Let the sea and everything in it shout his praise! Let the fields and their crops burst out with joy! Let the trees of the forest rustle with praise, for the Lord is coming to judge the earth. Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever. Proclaim His Greatess 1 Chronicles 16:8 1 Chronicles 16:25-27 Tell the World 1 Chronicles 16:8 1 Chronicles 16:23-24 Sing Praises 1 Chronicles 16:9 1 Chronicles 16:23 Colossians 3:16 Worship the Lord 1 Chronicles 16:10 1 Chronicles 16:29 Psalms 50:14 Seek the Lord 1 Chronicles 16:11 Matthew 6:33 2 Chronicles 7:14 Remember What He Has Done 1 Chronicles 16:12 1 Chronicles 16:15 1 Chronicles 11:23-25

Who Are You Following
Who Are You Following Luke 9:21-27, 57-62 Jesus warned his disciples not to tell anyone who he was. "The Son of Man must suffer many terrible things," he said. "He will be rejected by the elders, the leading priests, and the teachers of religious law. He will be killed, but on the third day he will be raised from the dead." Then he said to the crowd, "If any of you wants to be my follower, you must turn from your selfish ways, take up your cross daily, and follow me. If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake, you will save it. And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but are yourself lost or destroyed? If anyone is ashamed of me and my message, the Son of Man will be ashamed of that person when he returns in his glory and in the glory of the Father and the holy angels. I tell you the truth, some standing here right now will not die before they see the Kingdom of God." As they were walking along, someone said to Jesus, "I will follow you wherever you go." But Jesus replied, "Foxes have dens to live in, and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place even to lay his head." He said to another person, "Come, follow me." the man agreed, but he said, "Lord, first let me return home and bury my father." But Jesus told him, "Let the spiritually dead bury their own dead! Your duty is to go and preach about the Kingdom of God." Another said, "Yes, Lord, I will follow you, but first let me say good-bye to my family." But Jesus told him, "Anyone who puts a hand to the plow and then looks back is not fit for the Kingdom of God." Turn From Your Selfish Ways Luke 9:23 Matthew 6:33 Galatians 5:19-21 Take Up Your Cross Luke 9:23 Colossians 3:3-10 Romans 12:1-2 Follow Christ Luke 9:23 John 12:26 Acts 4:13 John 6:66-69 Give Up Your Life Luke 9:24-25 1 John 2:15-17 Luke 5:11 Luke 9:25

Praying What God Wants Us To Pray
Praying What God Wants Us To Pray Ephesians 3:12-20 Because of Christ and our faith in him, we can now come boldly and confidently into God's presence. So please don't lose heart because of my trials here. I am suffering for you, so you should feel honored. When I think of all this, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth. I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God's love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God's people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God. Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Pray to the Father Ephesians 3:14-15 Ephesians 3:12 Matthew 6:9-10 Pray for Power Ephesians 3:16 Psalms 24:8-10 Isaiah 40:28-31 Pray For Christ to be Home in Your Heart Ephesians 3:17 Matthew 22:37-38 Pray for Understanding Ephesians 3:18 Proverbs 3:5-6 Ephesians 5:16-17 Pray to Experience Christ's Love Ephesians 3:18-19 Romans 8:38-39 Pray for More Ephesians 3:20 Jereiah 32:26-27

Enlarge Your Tent
Enlarge Your Tent Isaiah 54:1-3 "Sing, O barren woman, you who never bore a child; burst into song, shout for joy, you who were never in labor; because more are the children of the desolate woman than of her who has a husband," says the Lord. "Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes. For you will spread out to the right and to the left; your descendants will dispossess nations and settle in their desolate cities." Preparing Ourselves for More Psalm 96:1-13 Sing a new song to the Lord! Let the whole earth sing to the Lord! Sing to the Lord; praise his name. Each day proclaim the good news that he saves. Our Father
Our Father Psalm 103:8-18 The Lord is compassionate and merciful, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love. He will not constantly accuse us, nor remain angry forever. He does not punish us for all our sins; he does not deal harshly with us, as we deserve. For his unfailing love toward those who fear him is as great as the height of the heavens above th earth. He has removed our sins as far from us as the east is from the west. The Lord is like a father to his children, tender and compassionate to those who fear him. For he knows how weak we are; he remembers we are only dust. Our days on earth are like grass; like wildflowers, we bloom and die. The wind blows, and we are gone - as though we had never been here. But the love of the Lord remains forever with those who fear him. His salvation extends to the children's children of those who are faithful to his covenant, of those who obey his commandments! Our Father is Compassionate Psalm 103:8 Psalm 103:13-14 Psalm 27:10 Our Father is Merciful Psalm 103:8 Psalm 103:3, 9-10, 12 Lamentations 3:22-23 Our Father is Slow to Anger Psalm 103:8 Psalm 103:9-10 Jonah 4:1-2 Psalm 30:5 Our Father is Filled With Unfailing Love Psalm 103:8 John 3:16 Romans 5:8 Psalm 103:11 1 John 4:10

Prevailing Prayer
Prevailing Prayer Luke 18:1-8 One day Jesus told his disciples a story to show that they should always pray and never give up. "There was a judge in a certain city," he said, "who neither feared God nor cared about people. A widow of that city came to him repeatedly, saying, 'Give me justice in this dispute with my enemy.' The judge ignored her for a while, but finally he said to himself, 'I don't fear God or care about people, but this woman is driving me crazy. I'm going to see that she gets justice, because she is wearing me out with her constant requests!" Then the Lord said, "Learn a lesson from this unjust judge. Even he rendered a just decision in the end. So don't you think God will surely give justice to his chosen people who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will grant justice to them quickly! But when the Son of Man returns, how many will he find on the earth who have faith?" Preparing For a New Day
Preparing For a New Day Matthew 9:35-38 Jesus traveled through all the towns and villages of that area, teaching in the synagogues and annoucing the Good News about the Kingdom. And he healed every kind of disease and illness. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them because they were confused and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. He said to his disciples, "The harvest is great, but the workers are few. So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields."
