Badda boom — I’m back!
It’s been tough picking up the mics since we lost Kels. Some days, they feel like they weigh a thousand kilos. Hitting record without hearing the bro making a beat or going on a rant feels strange. Even starting the podcast with a greeting feels off.
But I know Kels would want me to keep going — so keep going I will.
This episode, I’ve got a brilliant guest: CJ. She’s a wife, mum, teacher, friend — and so much more. She’s also faced her own battles with mental health. We dive into her journey, how it’s shaped her, where she’s at now, and the impact she’s making on others.
It’s a fun, thoughtful kōrero — and CJ’s voice is pure warmth for your ears.
More episodes coming soon. Hold me accountable, whānau!
Did you know this is the 82nd episode!
So happy to have two amazing people on the show. Honestly two people I could talk to together or alone for hours.
Its my cousin Grizz and his super cool wife Lavanya.
We talk about hitting the gym, what made them start, the challenges they have had and what music keeps them pumping iron.
We also jump into the most amazing story of Lavanya getting back surgery days before her wedding, how amazing India is and what was it like meeting each others families for the first time.
Will totally get these two on again.

Sweeet!
For those of you following along at home, you know Kels loved a good Mt. Rushmore question—so much so that he wrote a ton of them. Unfortunately, we never got the chance to tackle them… but luckily, he passed the list on to our good mate Tyrin!
So now, we’re diving in! We’re sitting down with Kels’ list and going all in on wrestling—ranking the best, debating the greats, and having a blast along the way. Play along at home and see if your picks match ours!
Ok so I realised towards the end of the episode my mic was off. Like I had to use an older one and I must have hit the on switch. But hopefully you can still hear me enough.
BUT its not about me, its about this weeks guests, the always welcomed Siobhan and long time talking topic, first time guest Findlay!
We break down Mania and look at each match, and also talk about Findlays weird gym membership collection.
Plus we check in on our mental health and more!
Hope you like this one.
Well ok, Dylan may have got caught up in the hype of the comedy fest and forgot to upload this episode....
My bad everyone! But its here now and this week has friend of the show Tracey Adams!
We talk about loosing Kels and our love for our fallen mate.
We also talk about wrestling and Tracey brought a heap of excellent questions for us all to ponder. Enjoy this is a fun ep.
So very excited about this episode and have wanted this guest on for a wee while. We finally managed to get our shit in order and now here she is!
Sammy has had a really hard journey to get to where she is today. from loosing her kids to her road to recovery with PTSD!
This is a bit of a heavy episode with some lovely learnings!
Enjoy!
Some of you may know Dylan does another Podcast called OMG! Have you Watched This? with The Alex.
Some of you may also know Anxiety is a pain in the butt! So I asked Alex to come and have a chat about it! Hope you enjoy this cool episode.
This one was actually the first episode I recorded since last year, and I am rusty!

After lots of soul-searching, tears, and internal struggle, it's time to kick this back off. I dusted off the gear and invited Morgs and Justin to come down and have some laughs to get back into the show. In part 1 we talk absolute bullshit, the way Kels would have wanted it. Part 2 is coming soon and we talk about our mate!BTW all three of us have shows in the upcoming Palmy Comedy Fest! One thing at BYJ we love is Mt Rushmore. Not so much the actual Mt Rushmore, though im sure its fine and dandy, but listing the our favourite things.
So we did an episode on it. Its pretty loose but we hope you enjoy it!
Dylan and Kels discuss getting back on stage! We also catch up on what has been going on in our lives as well as praising fellow comedian Nathan Bond (Nathan is one of the best pun comedians in the country, you got to check him out!).
Kels also talks about reaching out for help and how simple things make all the difference!
Hope you enjoy this episode!
When we first started this podcast, we had a list of people we REALLY wanted on. And for episode 71, we ticked one off the list!
We are joined by the wonderful, caring, funny, beautiful, smart... there are not enough positive adjectives in this world to describe her, to be honest!
We hope you love this 2 hour episode (calm down, listen to it in chunks lol)!
Did you know Morgs has more siblings? We didn't!!
We are joined by the silky smooth tones that is comedian powerhouse Morgan Hunter-Bell!
We kind of just babble through this stupidly long podcast for a while and cover several topics including
and more!
Also big ups for us for getting to 70 episodes! If you love the pod you can thank us here! We are keen to upgrade some gear so this would go a long way!
Welcome to episode 69 part 2!
We jump right in from where part 1 left (but don't worry you can listen out of order!)
In this episode, we kinda goof off and just talk pop culture including
Bit of a funny one after last week's heavyish ep.
Hope you are all well, and thanks always for your continued support. We keep breathing cause you keep listening.
We all love a good long 69, so we made two episodes for you, to make it last as long as we do in real life (ha!)
This episode Dylan opens up about his failing mental health and how he has had to change medication to try and keep up, and the factors that have contributed to it.
We also play a game, that took way way longer then we expected hahaha.
Keep an eye out for Part 2!
You know what is amazing, PB Tech. So good. And great service! And the pricing can't be beat!
Also, Kels wonders where his stuff has gone, and needs to head to PB Tech for a new one
He also opens up about some things he has been hiding for a while, and we debate if he has done the right thing.
We think this episode would sound best on some new headphones, which you can get from PB Tech.
BTW this is not sponsored at all, we just like PB Tech.
Hey if you like this episode, feel free to help us out here
The Hitchhiker Guide said to always bring a towel.
We say, always keep a peanut slab in your pocket.
Dylan talks about his mental health and what's up with it. He has concluded maybe it's time for a change!!
We rate WWE's Wrestlemania 40, was it good? Was it bad?
We also talk stand-up comedy specials, and old-school video games, on this long-ass episode!
Enjoy!
Kels decided to escape from the hospital and record an episode!
So you best appreciate it lol. He literally held off a treatment to do this. He also updates us on his health and the potential of being discharged.
Ok.... um so turns out Dylan uploaded this episode, but forgot to hit publish.... D'oh! So there is an episode from March 3rd... My bad everyone, my bad.
In this stupidly long pod, we discuss the emo week in the Stewart House, Auckland Traffic and listening to the actual radio.
Plus we talk South Park, Afterlife, Thai Land and how The Simpsons is the perfect family.
Plus way way more! Like lots more, at almost 2 hours there was lots to talk about.
