Episode Eight: Rebuilding Our Inner Voice - Part 2
This is the eighth episode in season one of Becoming Wild. It is the second of three episodes focused on "Rebuilding Our Inner Voice". Emma talks about our inner wisdom and what it is and answers a listener question about how to influence relatives who you feel need help. Then she dives into a coaching session with Lu where they meet her inner wise woman.
We had a lot of technical issues with the sound this time, so apologies for the interference!
Questions for you to continue "Reframing Your Inner Voice" at home:
How do you know when you are speaking kindly to yourself?
When is it easiest for you to hear your inner wisdom?
Emma first learned about the inner wise woman from her own teacher/mentor/coach, Andrea Leda Wilborn [https://www.bravercoach.com/] and Tara Mohr's book "Playing Big".
Emma mentioned the book, "Being Mortal" by Atul Gawande [https://atulgawande.com/].
On the show they talked about the two types of fear. This comes from "Playing Big" by Tara Mohr.
Lu mentioned Kim Krans' Wild Unknown [https://kimkrans.com/the-wild-unknown] Archetype deck of cards.
Emma mentioned the concept of believing that everyone is doing their best, which she first read about in Brene Brown [https://brenebrown.com/]'s book, "Daring Greatly".
The coaching program that Emma takes Lu through on the show is the six month one-to-one coaching program, Becoming Wild [https://www.emmawhittard.com/about-4].
